Like a lot of people, I didn't really have a need for an all blue Bazooka. However, I did like him well enough just to do some minor changes to turn him into a new Navy recruit character for the Joes. First was a head swap with some generic fisherman figure I repainted. Then the removal of the shirt number to which I later added a custom Naval academy logo. Then finished it up with painting some of the details. I actually finished this guy two years ago and just now got around to taking pictures of him today, so without any further delay...
Here comes Breakwater:

Good call, making a Navy character with that body. The decal (waterslide?) looks great on the shirt.

Nice. How do you remove the numbers?

Some Q-tips and acetone. Just use a little at a time and switch to a new Q-tip every so often to where you're clearing off the numbers cleanly and not just smearing the color from the numbers around.
