In the UK Joe is under the banner Action Force, there is a character called...The Doc. The Doc is the exact same mold as the US version of Doc. The differance is US Doc's real name is Carl Greer. UK The Doc is Sven Inglesen...yeah they really just regioned up the same figure. They did that a lot.
But I wanted a figure on my shelf that wasnt an EXACT copy of Doc so I took some creative licensing. The Doc is now Suture. And while Doc was a black man in rather plain tan shirt and slacks with glasses. Suture is a lighter skin black man in a tan more field ready uniform and he has goggles. If you look at Doc I think this honors the spirit but makes Suture stand out as his own character. Last edited by Owner of a Lonely B.A.T.; 07-27-2019 at 09:02 PM.. |

Very cool custom.
There were two Docs in Action Force, the Norwegian one who was in Z-Force and then the Jamaican one who was the repackaged GI Joe Doc. |

I think its a nice blend that puts a fresh look to the character while still maintaining some...link to the past versions. |

i love customs that pay homage to their original figure. You hit the nail on the head in that it really is an updated version. Love it!
