The pic with Grunt has a vintage visor while the pic with Zap has a 25th visor. I'm still messing around with the visors. Neither visor's pegs fit into the MTF helmet I've been using--holes are too far back, so I cut the visor pegs. The vintage visor stays on loosely while the 25th visor is pretty tight. Below are the two side by side I cropped together last night for more study: PhotoGrid_Plus_1625129268169 by HissHissFangFang, on Flickr I'm not in love with either, and almost want to abandon the visor altogether and go with googles. I lot of me says it's time to leave the visor as a relic of the past. But I keep the picture below on hand to remind me that the visor can look modern and effective if done right (pic by Brian Life for ROC toy line, link to his other artwork here: Attention Required! | Cloudflare brian-life-grand-slam-torso by HissHissFangFang, on Flickr Glad you like! Green? Wha? Brown are for my 90's desert concept OG13 set, Blue are for my comic style set. Black and grey for the classic colors set. And that's it for me. Green? Quote:
To all, sorry I can't react faster during the day, work has been real time and mind consuming during daylight hours. It's really nice to have new OG13 stuff to work on at night to balance the stress. And the long weekend is just about here. Independence Day also marks the day 4 years ago that I got enough balls to start showing my work publicly, starting with my Cobra O13 concept set. Thanks to all for the support and feedback since then! |

Nice job again!!! The visor/ helmet option I like is using an ROC Pit trooper / ROC Law visor / ROC Footloose on a DG Duke helmet. You have to drill holes in the helmet, but I find the proportions work well for the larger POC and after heads.

My original plan was to do all these new Retro version greenshirts in the same olive drab per Short Fuse as pictured, but now it's going to be really hard to go away from this lighter green given how it's a better match to the vintage figure. I guess I'll see what happens...
Those visor helmets were the characters I went for first in the line. I guess I liked the peculiarities ... visors, chest pads, a commando hood, an aerobic outfit that passes for fatigues. But, you're doing great work either way and the line has to please you given that you're the expert craftsman here. |

Great stuff as always man! I hope hasbro will give us the rest of the OG 13 since they got the basic mold now.
