Nice work as always man. As soon as I got Stalker in hand I saw so many OG Joes that can be made using that body.

These two are perfect. I can almost hear Stalker yelling, "Fall in!"

You sir are a wise man, with only one I know of being at least as wise... Oh, forgot he has a Missile Commander. I had to fight myself to color him more like the original figure, less like the comic version of the first two years. He's got a darker green than the original, which is something I did with my other classic MMS Hawk--felt we need to stand out a bit more as leader from an action figure standpoint. I'm thinking of him and Rock'n'Roll trading shades of green. I really only want to do OG 7/13 at this point (if that many), with Breaker, Clutch and RnR all having the same medium green/grey. Hawk will hopefully approach perfection when I figure out whether goggles or visor is the way to go. It's an age old debate that I started with myself last night. Thoughts? Thanks guys. I wish I could say that I was going for that "nice killer" look, but really just going for the easiest kitbash and paint outside of Quote:

Hasbro has defnitely made a nice new base figure that has great potential, eh? Interested to see what other come up with soon.

I really like the new Stalker sculpt and love how you repainted it for Hawk. I just hope Hasbro decides to follow your lead and do that too for the OG13 that make sense (ie. all the long sleeved guys) and have a different one for the likes of Clutch, Rock N Roll. Maybe have a different torso but have the padding as a separate piece to make Flash and Grand Slam.
Wouldn't it be sweet if they did the Stars N Stripes forever set again. I'd love that if they use this new molding for the applicable figures.

Thanks guys. I'm still not really convinced these guys are "updates" or "upgrades" to my 25th updated set, but it's fun get mess with OG13 again, and not as complicated as later year characters. Maybe the biggest issue is the size of the set at 13. That's a lot of figures. Seven is ideal is my mind, and I will likely keep it at 7 for final shelf worthy figures for these guys. For at least a few years...

I hope someone at Hasbro remembers the fiasco of the 1st Stars N Stripe Forever set, and has the intiative to be the one at Hasbro to finally correct that whole mistake. That would be epic. But if would also be epically hilarious if someone at Hasbro, not having a clue, gets the set together based on those wrong RockN-Roll and Breaker bodies... |

Stalker and I going over more potential set 9 candidates. Not shelf ready, plenty of other candidates waiting in the hallway. Also, a shot of Stalker's backside for his fans...

HHFF,
So, did you have to modify the MTF 86 Vest or Snake Eyes harness? I think there is a lot of potential with this new design. I am loving that most of the parts are boil & pop designs. Can't wait to get my hands on some Stalker figures. One thing I really hope for is that if Hasbro plans to update Flash and/or Grand Slam that they do justice to the stirrup pants and boots. I would be super stoked if Hasbro finally offered a true "retro" version of Snake Eyes with twin pockets and explosive device thighs and stirrup pants legs. Jason
