Not sure if it was intentional, but I'm digging the slight smirk your figure has. Your paint work also really gives her face a ton of expression and attitude.

Thanks Mog. Credit the Hasbro sculptors for the facial expression on this head. The furrowed eyebrows and the smirk were all in the original sculpt, though the lips were given unpainted and the eyes a bit wide as factory painted. But it was flesh color molded, ideal for fixing eyes, eyebrows, and lips because you can use an exact knife as an eraser of sorts, to scrape off overpaint.

The expressive face threw me off at first, then I loved it after a few days, then I got worried I may have become eyeblind to something that was obviously off. In the end, I'm sticking with it over the WM Retro head for many reasons, unless comments sway me.

BTW I think the WM Retro head also has a bit of a sculpted smirk (noticed when repainting to a lighter pink), but the eyebrow locations (sculpted on) don't give the same overall attitude of this head. Is also too pale comparatively.

Nice job HHFF!!! I really like the head/hair combo on that figure. It makes it look like the head is the correct size and not too small. I still like the Resolute torso more, but the 25th has the closest accuracy to the original card art, and your mods make it work well!!!

Great job on Scarlett. Your mods to the 25th torso make it the perfect choice for an "ultimate" Scarlett. I'm still not sold on the Resolute hairpiece though. If it's not glued, you might look at how the 25th hairpiece looks. The Resolute hair just looks too thick to me. Everything else though is amazing!

However ...

Everything you said and every picture you posted about Scarlett was instantly eclipsed by that group photo of Stalker, Scarlett, and Snake Eyes. As soon as I saw that picture of Stalker, I honestly lost all interest in Scarlett, and am now about to search back through this thread for info on Stalker.

I can pretty much make out the build, but the thing that stands out to me is that you Dremelled the beret off of Renegades/POC Stalker and added an MTF(?) beret. This is very interesting! Very interesting indeed!! I am slowly but surely working on my re-vamped O13, and I love that POC Stalker face sculpt (not the braided ponytail though), but I'm on the fence about the odd-shaped beret. I think you've given me the perfect solution!!

Awesome work. How would your Retro head look on that body? I ask because, to my eye, that hair piece looks a little too big on the Cobra Officer head. And because I love how the Retro head looks after the tweaks you made.

Thanks 46Z! I do like what you did with Resolute torso. I've got a spare and would like to mess with it using the WM Retro Legs and head. However I didn't think finding extras would be such a hassle. In my mind I pictured tons of pegwarmers everywhere, like Stars Wars TVC Rey and that bad guy...

I think it's kind of funny that we switch the legs (resolute legs swapped for retro legs). People thinks we be nuts, but there is a noticeable height difference (though being the same sculpt detailing). I still don't know if anyone else but you and I believes this!

Thanks Jason. Stalker was back done back in the day: Stalker [Bonus Takes] (post #112). I recently (and quickly) slapped light green for his basic camo look for my Ripcord post. He use to have a 50th Falcon beret, but decided to keep that Falcon intact. I'm not sure where I got that latest beret--maybe it came off a loose figure I bought in the last year, and just might be MTF. It fits all right for this figure (better on this figure than others I've tried).

Webgear was also switched, as Roadblock needed his webgear again. It's from Raginspoon, has the right height, not too busy or bulky, but is a bit wide with the straps. I actually bought it as a potential replacement gear for Roadblock, but it didn't work out on the torso.

The 2007 Scarlett hairpiece is too small--it doesn't fit at all, even on what seems to be a small head. Thanks for the suggestion though, you'd think I would've tried it already (only did so when I read your suggestion).

Thanks Fred, I mean to try the Retro head on this body if I ever find extras. Unmodified it sits ridiculously high on the neck and body. I don't want to mess with my one, as I've got that head tight and where I want it on the WM Retro body. The hair is a bit big on the CO head--it threw me off when I first tried it. But after a while, it starts to look more normal. Then after a while while, the hair on the 25th and WM Retro hairdos begins to look too short, almost 50s style. That's what I'm talking about when I say I may be eyeblind to it by now--so it's good to see these comments (and see if I can tweak it further to dial back the perceived difference in size of the pieces). Thanks for the suggestion: I'll try it out on my forthcoming repaint extra--if I ever find extras...
