[HissHissFangFan]

This a custom/kitbash companion/rival set for the nine G.I. Joe good guy figures of from 1983. This set isn’t as settled as my previous Cobra O13, so figures are likely to be revised over the year. The set draws inspiration from the vehicle and file cards, the comics, the early cartoon miniseries, and rival Joe figures of the time. Some of these figures are leftovers from figures/ideas in my first O13 sets. Also, the FANG Pilot idea was from the original HISS driver’s file card—an idea I had always wanted Hasbro explore further.

Man I really like these! I love that you tweaked the HISS driver to create a FANG pilot. It was pretty creative of Hasbro BITD to list HISS drivers as qualified FANG pilots - kind of made up to the kids for not including an action figure. With the exception of (maybe) Yearbook 2, I don't think the comics or cartoons caught on to this.

My favorite has to be the Stinger Driver though! I never owned one as a kid and always thought the rocket launcher was just so cool looking. This is definitely a figure I hope Hasbro updates in the future.

O13 joes are on the way. I needed more time to go back and remember all the bits and paints I used on those. Plus, Letal had only recently posted his amazing O13 set (http://www.hisstank.com/forum/g-i-jo...oms-letal.html), which honestly intimidated me as a first time poster.

Also, a lot of what I have done were things (mostly) completed a few years ago. It was only this year that I really liked how the group photos were coming out, and really wanted to share them.
