Of course I would not forget about my brown brothers out there. You just need to add a bit more of the darker colors like red. Actually my first test I did turned out pretty dark compared to Caucasian skin. It turned out light African American in color. And that was because I added too much red. But then I just added white and it got lighter. The trick is, just follow the tutorial and it comes out almost perfect as far as Caucasion color. But then add only little bits at a time. Like a toothpick amount is about right. Remember you can always add color, but you can't take it away. Last edited by Flame Viper; 06-28-2009 at 05:46 PM.. |

I think the Reaper pre-made skin tones are pretty good, and I use them straight from the bottle. I guess I'm on the lazy side, instead of making my own colors I'd rather go out and buy something that works, lol.

Everything I have I had to get through online sources. I generally get things in 7 or 10 packs from Testors. Buying them individually would probably get really expensive. Now that I have started mixing paint I feel sort of more professional now. It feels good to know that I can actually do something artistic for a change. LOL |

What about from Games Workshop? I have one that's close by my workplace. Are there any particular paint colors I can use from there for flesh tones?
