Wow - a lot to love here.
The camo and stach on recondo are perfect. The camo looks better than factory. How did you do the stache? Green stuff and paint? I can't get over how good that Hank head looks with the beret as Flint. I may have no choice but to make one now. I really like the BH build - but I prefer the lined baclava for him. I've also never been a fan of the MTF paint for the eye area on those heads. Perhaps consider trying the POC headsculpt that was released also with Resolute BH or POC Steel Brigade? So far as Beachhead goes, I had the ribbed masked head from Hasbro (I think it was from a ‘Retaliation’ Beachhead), but thought it looked a bit small on the MFT body, so opted to go with the MTF balaclava head that matched the green of the torso. It would’ve been nice to have a slightly larger noggin with the ribbed material look to it. Maybe someday I’ll find the right sculpt to use... -Todd Shakka85

Am I the only who sees Flint winking at us? 😉

Actually, he’s giving you his best Clint Eastwood look, with one eye squinting and the other wide open... Don’t get on his bad side!

Great customs. I am stealing some of your ideas and just placed an order with marauder to make that Thunder. I always liked that character as a kid and not thrilled with the Hasbro version. Really like yours though.
Once they have the gray buck in stock I am going to copy that mainframe. I really don’t like the sculpt on the Hasbro version and yours is spot on. The rest are great as well. |

So right now this thread of yours begins and ends with two very different looks for Flint. I like how the first one shows your face painting skills and the last one shows just how far MTF has come in giving you creative options. Any thoughts from you on the two different Flints and your preferences for an MTF version of him?

Thank you. Cool to know. I agree about that Hank head. Makes for a rougher looking Flint for sure. Thanks for sharing these good ideas in your thread.
