I welcome any and all criticism It's the only way to see your work from other perspectives then your own... Even if the comment is negative it helps you too see some things you may or may not need to improve on.
The only thing I hate, is when someone votes your thread a 1 star and leaves no comments. I also hate when a comment is left along the lines of "I don't think this works/ What's the point" I really hate short answers when it comes to people disliking a customs. If your going to take the time to let me know you don't like it..... Explanations are in order is it the Paint?web gear?part choice? What do you hate so much that you felt the need to comment? other then those I welcome any and all views. |

Sorry, it was late and I was tired, and I guess I just started rambling.

I guess my thought is, if you can't take the criticism, whether it be constructive (paint job, technique) or personal opinion ("Hey, don't f--- with Shockwave!"), you shouldn't be posting it in a public forum and asking for people's opinions.
This is a forum full of adult males who collect action figures. We're not exactly the most mature group of people around, ya know? You can't expect that everyone will be kind, or even polite. If you can't handle that, simply don't post. |

My problem is that there are SO MANY customs that...
a) I feel like I miss a lot of them since there is not a good way to see them all. There is just no way you can see them all. I wish there was a way we could view them all with some thumbnails or an organized way to sort through them. b) I lack creativity in my response and sound like a broken record. "Looks Great" happens be cause it does look great but because you've just uploaded 20 customs & I've become lazy in my response. Truth is the paint looks very clean and you chose some great parts, but I can't cut and paste that for everyone. I've only got two "finished" customs under my belt and I know this to be true: Once you've done one, you gain a totally new appreciation for the work that is displayed here. |
