Yeah, I love getting vintage gear whenever it makes sense for my customs too. Sadly, cause I live in Canada, shipping many times is more than the part is worth so I would have to only buy when someone has multiple items I need.

Jason: great job on Blowtorch! Can you post more photos showing improved arm range for posing with his weapon? I'm considering changing up mine after seeing this. I'd prefer more bagginess to the arms, but improved poseability would definitely overrule that pref.

That is a terrific take on Blowtorch. I'm definitely copying this.

Per HissHissFangFan's request, here is a pic demonstrating the range of articulation.
I take it a huge compliment that HissHissFangFan wants to see more pics! He's one of my top favorite customizers. I think I forgot to mention that glued the chest plate to the MTF Shock-Ops torso. I heated it up first, so that it would fit the shape of the torso better. Then spot glued it to the torso. It's not all that important to me if Blowtorch has removable armor. Thanks for looking, and I appreciate all the feedback. Jason |

Next in the Class of 1984 is one of the first 2 figures to come packed with an animal sidekick - Mutt & Junkyard.
I never had these figures as a child, so I'm not as emotionally attached to Junkyard, especially the fact that he reminds me of Triumph the Insult Comic Dog. So, as soon as I receive my black K9 from the Marauder's Kickstarter, I'm swapping out the current plastic Rottweiler statue with a fully articulated German Shepherd. Besides, I can't find any info that the U.S. Military ever used Rottweiler's. I'm sure someone will/can send me a link or something, but the main K9 breed for the U.S. military is German Shepherd. I changed Mutt over to the USMC, and tried to give him the proper MOS. More of an upgrade with very little painting. Main thing was swap out those 25th legs with DG Shipwreck legs. Added an MTF holster and BBi ammo pouch/pocket. Gave him some better articulated MTF big hands, and a working knife/sheath for his vest. Also included an alternate look with an Avac's Lab Revolution cap w/ MTF goggles. Marvel Issue 26 depicts Mutt wearing a ball cap & goggles, and I've always liked this look. Although I don't think there is actually an episode of Lassie where Timmy fell into a well, it's a pretty common joke based on that series! LOL! Critiques, comments, and feedback encouraged and appreciated! Jason |

Blowtorch looks fantastic! I tend to love ARAH accessories on modern figures but would not of guessed that blowtorch's mask would look that good!
I like the modifications to Mutt as well, its a interesting take on him.
