I'll post better pics when I finish my Class of '84 customs, but I was so excited on how this turned out I wanted to share it!
MTF Blowtorch Helmet/Mask - '84 ARAH Blowtorch Head - MTF Vanguard Body - MTF Shock-Ops Calves/Feet - 25th Blowtorch Gun/Backpack - 25th Blowtorch Holster/Pocket/Hands - MTF Minimal painting on the arms. Grey painting on the hose to cover some red paint that was on it when I bought it off ebay. I also cut the elbow pads off the upper arms. It allows for some weird backwards hyper-extension, but I think it looks a lot better. Jason Last edited by jlw515; 04-25-2018 at 08:30 AM.. |

Blowtorch looks great! Another great use for the MTF buck.

Alright, here are better pics of my MTF Blowtorch!
The ME Blowtorch is a good figure in its own right, but the sculpt cuts down on the range of articulation. So, I started with an MTF Shock-Ops figure as the base. I cut the elbow pad off, which I think looks much better, although it does allow for this weird hyper-extension articulation. Painted the black arm armor a dark, brick red. Swapped out the knees and calves with GIJoe Blowtorch. The yellows match pretty well. But the crowning piece (all puns intended) to this custom is the ARAH helmet and gas mask. They just look so much better, to me, than the ME Blowtorch. Comments & critiques encouraged and appreciated! G.I. Joe Revisited Jason |

This is awesome! I love that you used the vintage helmet and mask.
