Thanks! I tried to update the File Cards with current MOS and schooling, yet making them sort of ambiguous and not dated to a particular time. I like to think of my Joeverse sort of like the original X-Men and GIJoe ROC movie, set "in the not so distant future."
I also tried to incorporate more divisions of the Armed Services. So with O13 you'll notice I've listed Steeler, Clutch, and Zap as USMC. You'll see with other customs that I've given the team more of a balance among the branches - except the Coast Guard, still only one Coast Guardsman! LOL!! Jason |

Wow, I have neglected from updating this thread!
Here is my MTF-style Lady Jaye. I really like the design of Lady Jaye from this fan art of Lady Jaye and Flint I had made a custom LJ head using an Angel Forge head cast and SW TESB Medical Frigate Leia face. I wanted my LJ to be able to swap out legs with the MTF Valkyrie figures. So, I did a little "chop swap" custom by combining the chest of DVD LJ with the torso of a Range-Ops Valkyrie. I also Dremmelled out the short sleeves and glued in the arms from a T--Shirt torso Valkyrie The web gear is a custom made from LJ and Resolute Flint web gear. The small knife is from Mouse's web gear. Comments & critiques encouraged! Jason |

Gonna try using another Hasbro LJ torso and customizing the very bottom with the MTF Valkyrie joint, and see how that works out too.

Here's another Joe-MTF crossover. I wanted to make a Valkyrie-style OK Daina, but I really like the Hasbro head sculpt. So, I Dremmelled out a couple of custom resin cast heads (from Vortious Customs) to fit the Val bodies. I think that "Spec-Ops" camo has a very 1980s Russian "Red Dawn" look to it.
This first one is with a Recon-Ops body and reminds me more of Daina's first appearance. The fur hat is from a Big Bear head cast that I Dremmelled out. The second figure is more, to me, like the Yearbook 2 look with the camo fatigues and tanker cap. Custom Stormavik is a MTF Spec-Ops body with HACKS Adonis head. Comments & critiques encouraged! Thanks. Jason |

Here's another quick one! This is a fan-fic character that I call "Dozer" - got the name in college football by "bulldozing" his opponents. Body and weapon are MTF. The head sculpt is a HACKS from one of the new series. Had to use some hot glue to make the head fit.

UGH! It looks like my old blog has been removed! Crud! I think it has to do with an old email account. Guess that's my chance to start over!

All of the new stuff looks fantastic! You did a LOT of modding to the female torso and arms to make that LJ, and your work paid off; she looks amazing! The Daina figures look great, too, and who wouldn't want to have a Dozer on their team who looks like that? Kudos on all!

I love these lady MTF builds. The MTF figures--I've been trying to keep myself from falling into that rabbit hole, and milking the old(!) Hasbro stuff for all they're worth for another few months.
But the MTF female stuff really fills a long time void in parts and heads. Your figures are a good showcase of what is available, and what can be done to fill some gaps in anyone's collection, and expand beyond that. Regarding your blog: Did you lose everything and have to start over?? Hope it doesn't take too much work, but I need that blog back up. I am a big time O13 fan, and your O13 work (builds, pics, filecards) is tops on my list. |
