Rajada, has more of a desert color scheme than mountain like I always took original Rampart to have. Need to look at my Club version again, I know one early pic they showed looked more like Ramada’s colors but then the actual release was sort of in the middle I felt. So whichever one I feel like the “official” release resembles most, I’ll make the other. https://www.yojoe.com/action/int/br-rajada.shtml

^^^Thanks again buddy & appreciate the info!
NEW RECRUITS!!!!! #236/X46. CHOPIN (MILLENNIUM FORCE VERSION) (based on GI Joe Battle Force 2000 Dodger) Marauder Task Force Millennium Force Version/Version 4 Origin: USA Season 8 Much like the Steel Brigade/Hot Shot character evolved in our childhood adventures to Battle Force 2000's Blaster, my brother's avatars also evolved into Dodger & Maverick, as we loved the BF2000 concept and wanted to project ourselves into that adventure. I have been wanting to include those 2 characters for awhile, especially after completing Blaster some time ago. But Dodger's build was challenging to emulate in MTF. Once I got the helmet from the amazing Avac's Lab & wanted to try & crack the code again, I came up with this build that combines Contract-Ops, Trooper, & WWII parts, that I think really captures the spirit of the original! MILLENNIUM FORCE is a new experimental team being developed by the MTF to test the latest in high tech gear & transportation advancements in this new unforgiving world. When chaos reigns, & the prior ways of warfare are being pushed to the brink, these highly-trained specialists have been entrusted with unique state-of-the-art prototypes! Their mission, to support the MTF on the field & in the air while being in live combat with the latest battle advancements made by the united military! CHOPIN likes to keep his feet on the ground (in this incarnation), pounding the land with the latest in military experimental armed offensive transports! He is both rugged & smart, & can quickly repair his "special vehicles" on & off the field. He is known for playing both loud-heavy music &/or classical themes when going into battle, which earned him his classically inspired code name. He may have the latest hardware to test, but when your tech gets blown out, he can still pull through with his skill, ambition, & courage! Last edited by Steel Brigade; 06-03-2021 at 12:20 PM.. |

#237/X47. SKY BUSTER (MILLENNIUM FORCE VERSION) (based on GI Joe Battle Force 2000 Maverick)
Marauder Task Force Millennium Force Version/Version 4 Origin: USA Season 8 I had a couple different ideas as to how I wanted to construct an MTF Maverick, especially when it came to the helmet & harness. I could have made the helmet the same way that I did the "Albatroz" homage using MTF parts, as that original figure also came with the Maverick helmet... but when I saw that Avac's Lab had a Mav custom option, I knew I wanted to use that here instead... as this is Maverick's most memorable trait from the original, & it was fun to have a satisfying way to add him to the ranks! The final build has a shemagh underneath the helmet for better placement, & I wanted to give him some wings... this is where the jet pack comes in! I don't know how many more members of BF 2000 I will make, but I will say that Avac's provides the possibility... ;-) SKY BUSTER is the commander of the new Millennium Force. He was highly ranked in his former military incarnation & was one of the few actually qualified for what the new MTF was looking for with Millennium Force. His helmet has various capabilities, even offering a virtual way thru speech to operate his new Vektor jet pack & it's weapons without hand commands. His physical strength can withstand massive g-forces, & his reflexes & vision are unparalleled in flight. When the enemy faces SKY BUSTER in the air, they don't stand a chance! #238/X48. HOT SHOT (MECHA MASTERS VERSION) (inspired by GI Joe Steel Brigade)
Marauder Task Force Mecha Masters Version/Version 4 Origin: USA Season 8 I always want to recreate my brothers & I equally in "My MTF Universe" ...so when I remake 1 of our childhood avatars, the other 2 are not far behind lol. Instead of recreating another version of Steel Brigade from the existing GI Joe roster, I wanted to do a new take on him. I had long joked with my brothers that I was going to make a Hot Shot that was completely MTF meched-out, & once I saw Avac's Lab had a "red" (my favorite color) SB helmet option, the actual mech plans started to form. Highly inspired by "Fireball" from Saber Rider series (as I think that's how I would have designed a character for myself in my youth), this version of Hot Shot/SB combines both the red & white exo-suits! HOT SHOT volunteered to travel to Japan after the Shinobi 7 had procured the latest in Exo-Suit tech. Some thought he went because YAKU was there, other's think he went because he thought he was going to pilot a giant mecha like they do in anime. All of it was true, but he also just loves Japan, & what he came back with was a customized exo-suit that he had revised to his combat specs, in order to lead the MECHA MASTERS (which also includes members BLOCKADE & QUICK DRAW) in the latest action-packed fight against WRATH! The suit includes retractable melee weapons as well as flight capabilities, and enhances his strength, speed, and agility. Nicknamed the "Shin Kakyu" HOT SHOT is more fiery in a fight than ever! #239/X49. GONZO (based on GI Joe ARAH Scoop)
Marauder Task Force Origin: USA Season 8 Because of the DIC mini-series "Operation Dragon Fire," Scoop was an early favorite & purchase of my brothers and I circa 1989. I watched the series on DVD not long ago & it's a bit goofy in places but still some of the strongest in the DIC run, & better than it gets credit for. I passed on the Club's Scoop offering but still have wanted to add him to my collection. Another unique character due to his composition I wasn't sure if he was possible in MTF. But when Avac's Lab sent me a "Scoop" helmet as a freebie, that was all the inspiration I needed! Coby actually has quite a few options to recreate a "Scoop" on his site, but for my version I most wanted the Super 8 camera & binoculars to finish off what he helped start, & complete a fun Scoop homage! GONZO is fantastic at his job, but is the least liked member of the MTF. Assigned by the united government as a war correspondent/MTF journalist - he also does a fantastic job at just being a pain in the butt to most of the MTF members. Jumping in on missions that he is not assigned to, asking classified questions to the team when they return, recording everything, he tends to rub most of the "Task Force" the wrong way constantly. He had worked behind enemy lines in the past (even in disguise) and his earned quite a reputation over the years for reporting the hard stories. His yellow outfit signifies that he is a non-combatant, but it would not come as a surprise to anyone that either the enemy (or a fellow team member) might decide to just knock him off... #240/X50. DEAD EYE (OPERATION: ICE AGE VERSION) (based on GI Joe VvV Snake Eyes: Winter Operations)
Marauder Task Force Operation: Ice Age Version/Version 2 Origin: USA Season 8 When I was considering my arctic squad, & actually recreating the Valor vs Venom Winter Operations pack from 2005 in MTF form, I changed out some of the roster, but decided to keep the Snake Eyes idea from the pack. The newer Shadow-Ops legs where a great fit & recreating the rest of the look was easy with just MTF options! +1 Arashikage sticker! ;-) When the Shiobi 7 disbanded & before forming the Shinobi Squad, DEAD EYE decided to stay active with the MTF in the meantime as a full-fledged member. YUREI KAGE still had much to figure out in his new role with the Arashikage, & DEAD EYE wanted to grant him some space. DEAD EYE was chosen by ATHENA, his closest confidant, for OPERATION: ICE AGE, a mission that would send him to Canada to try and stop POSEIDON from attaining black market (& thought extinct) wild life for his own personal collection. DEAD EYE has spent much time in harsh winter environments over the years, and was the perfect choice to have as one of the MTF'S most qualified and agile members when much of the force may be weighed down. It also helped satisfy his own curiosity, as a lover of animals and what defense actions need to be taken in stopping the rise of black market trade of rare wild life in this broken world. OPERATION: ICE AGE 1. SNOW DRIFT 2. RAMPANT 3. DEAD EYE (Operation Ice Age version) 4. PHANTASM (Operation Ice Age version) coming 2021! 5. ATHENA (Operation Ice Age version) coming 2021! 6. CHEETAH coming 2021! Last edited by Steel Brigade; 06-10-2021 at 12:59 PM.. |

Killing it as usual man! I loved BF 2000 and Maverick was my favorite. Love what you've done with them in you universe.
Can't wait to see them all in a group picture Btw I ordered the parts to make Blizzard. Mine will be slightly different from yours but I want to give you credit too so once he is done I'll pm you and get your FB so if I post him there I can give you a shout out.

Don’t think I ever saw that version of Snake Eyes before. Great job recreating him with the new camo pants. Works perfectly for that design.
Haha, Scoop was an early favorite of mine from the Get Tough years and in figure form also. He had so many cool accessories that I couldn’t help but love him. Another that I have 80% of the way with a Marauder yellow but using a different vest and the original’s helmet. Love the gear you have on him, that camera is awesome and then just the simple pistol really works great. Have to look at the Club one & my Marauder again, was another v1 vs Funskool thing for me where I was trying to decide which the official Club one resembled more so I knew what to try and make. The red Steel Brigade helmet is so cool! Really fun new take on a Steel Brigade trooper. Then Maverick works perfectly using the exo suit flight pack as well. Never would have thought he could be made from Marauder parts but this build did it! Dodger is another great build, really liking how well you are meshing the casted helmets and new camo style into your figures. Finding great uses for them!
