Another awesome round of customs bro, you're killing it with the use of additional Avac's Lab accessories! I loved reading Road Kill's bio and being a huge Noks fan can't wait for the Neo Noks reveals!!

As far as just pure looks alone Sweeper (Lightfoot) may be my favorite of all of them. I never had him as a kid, but that looks 100% factory...so much so I may even have to copy that recipe just to add him to my Joes. Spot on and great job on all of the others as usual.
Thanks! I hope you do add him bud! I am glad so many seem to like the Lightfoot & Fast Draw homages. =) Quote:
Thanks guys, I really appreciate it!! =) Quote:
Ha ha! Cool bro! I can tell you all of the other Neo 'Noks are in various stages of development, some just waiting on heads! ;-) Quote:
Well you are in luck buddy, cuz I got more swords & 'Noks coming in the future lol. Thanks again! Quote:

Love this batch, a little of everything here!
Storm Shadow looks great! That camo really works for him now that he’s all geared up looking badass. Love the rope around his torso, the tattoo and how you loaded up his backpack. You broke the colors up on that Saw Viper perfectly! Love how the thigh wraps, pouches and vest just keep the colors flowing together to give him a cool look. Perfect build for Light Foot, at some point I’ll finish mine but other than the tablet, gun and backpack rig, what is half on my shelf is pretty much identical to yours. The red tablet is a great replacement for the little robot thing. Love that idea. Fast Draw is another innovative idea! Love the Exo suit rig to replace his original gear. Then the helmet makes him immediately identifiable as a modern Fast Draw. Another super impressive build with Road Pig! Never would have thought he was doable with Marauder parts but there you go! That WW2 head really works for him and I love the red stripes in his hair.

Glad you like the SAW Viper tribute, the old trooper bodies (purple) connecting to the new updated trooper bodies (black) can be a pain at the waist connector, so I really had to want that fusion to happen with some added patience lol. Thanks again for all of the kind words buddy! I really appreciate that you always notice the little details! *Good news, more fun "New Recruits" coming this weekend! |

NEW RECRUITS!!!!! MGR X AVAC'S LAB Part 3!!! (EYE WEAR ADDITION! lol)
#231/X43. SNOW DRIFT (based on GI Joe ARAH Blizzard) Marauder Task Force Origin: USA Season 8 Every year during the winter... since I started this thread, I think to myself, I wanna make some "snow guys" lol. But the inventory has not been there the last couple years so that I could fulfill my building needs. I thought about re-making the whole VvV "Winter Operations" set but then I wanted to use some other characters to try do my own take on a arctic team idea/story. I had Blizzard growing up (still do) and he was easily my favorite when it came to the arctic troopers. He was bulky, had a removable helmet, neat backpack, etc. Once I saw Avac's Lab had the signature helmet (& rifle) available, I knew he was first on list for my new winter squad. I gave him some added touches like the "wolf" sticker, shovel, & WW2 boots to complete his look & I really love how he turned out! *I also needed to get a proper background for both my new MTF arctic team (& their enemies), so scored the out-of-print Dioramansion Snow Mountain from Japan for a "cool" background! ;-) ATHENA needed to put together an investigation into the north... Canada, & possibly even the arctic regions. She heard that POSEIDON was making a rendezvous with an unknown to procure a dangerous & thought of as *extinct* species of animal to keep as his own personal pet. Early on her mission roster was arctic specialist SNOW DRIFT. "S.D." grew up in New Hampshire, then joined the special forces for cold climate operations. He's most famous for leading an experimental security team thru the worst parts of Greenland to further parts north during the Armageddon Wars to test the U.S. military for the worst kind of evacuation. SNOW DRIFT stayed out in the harshest conditions the longest, after most of the others failed the extreme situations presented. Later he was asked to join the MTF, and is now their head specialist for cold weather missions. OPERATION: ICE AGE 1. SNOW DRIFT 2. RAMPANT 3. DEAD EYE (Operation Ice Age version) coming soon! 4. PHANTASM (Operation Ice Age version) coming 2021! 5. ATHENA (Operation Ice Age version) coming 2021! 6. CHEETAH coming 2021! Last edited by Steel Brigade; 05-15-2021 at 12:09 PM.. |

#232/X44. RAMPANT (based on GI Joe ARAH Rampart)
Marauder Task Force Origin: USA Season 8 Rampart was one of my favorite 1990 year Joes (along with Freefall). He had such a cool look. I went out of my way to get him back then & remember my brothers & I having adventures with him fighting Cobra on my grandparents stairs... good times! =) I didn't think I could recreate him well in MTF, but then tried a couple of different add-on options from Avac's Lab & found that the extra hood was what I needed to recreate my own take! Combining some WWII & modern parts, I think I came up with a creative build for the shoreline defender. The slightly lighter color scheme (I believe) lends well to being a part of my winter squad, while still staying true to the original! Growing up as a big "first person shooter" game player, screen name "RAMPANT" gained international fame on the gaming circuit that even earned him a scholarship and a few endorsements. He found in time that he wanted to use his amazing eye/hand coordination for a more "real-world" cause when deciding to join the navy after college & specializing in artillery. One of the survivors of his navy vessel after the Armageddon Wars, he recently sought out the MTF as a "New Recruit." One of his first missions will be "OPERATION ICE AGE", joining a seasoned staff as their heavy gunner in cold climate conditions, relying on him to quickly take down the enemy from any direction. OPERATION: ICE AGE 1. SNOW DRIFT 2. RAMPANT 3. DEAD EYE (Operation Ice Age version) coming soon! 4. PHANTASM (Operation Ice Age version) coming 2021! 5. ATHENA (Operation Ice Age version) coming 2021! 6. CHEETAH coming 2021! Last edited by Steel Brigade; 05-15-2021 at 12:15 PM.. |
