#17. CODE NAME: RED KAMEN (based on the Japanese Underground Idol group Kamen Joshi )
Marauder Task Force
Origin: Japan

I was inspired to recreate my favorite girl from the Japanese Underground Metal Idols group "Kamen Joshi," (being Anna, the center position.) I saw them live 3 times while in Japan last year and am a major fan. ;-) Since there is no MTF bare legs/skirt options (lol)* she is an amalgam of their many looks. Kamen Joshi has prop weapons so the chain saw, clippers, and sword come from that. The Gas Mask/flamethrower represents their "Steam Girls" sub group look and the baseball cap/head is from a promotion that they did wearing caps. First time using the female shin guards to look like the leg warmers... she was a lot of fun to make!

*SPECIAL OPERATION UNDERGROUND IDOL* (Tokyo): When a Korean sect of the Gunrunners visited Japan for a 3-day Idol festival using their own Korean idols as a cover to traffick weapons to Nigerian buyers, a sting operation was setup using 3 MTF reserve Japanese operatives. One of which was the "Red Kamen" a survivor from when the Destroyers had struck her hometown in Tokyo and she lost a her best friend to their rampage. Recovering a Destroyer's helmet, she painted it red and wears it now as her own after joining the MTF. The disguised girls had served as an entertainment decoy and then brought the smack down on the Korean Gunrunners men posing as staff and fans. The Korean Gunrunners leader known as "Rainmaker," was enjoying the show (as a fan of idols) and was dealt with in a showdown with the 3 undercover MTF women as they performed a special joint show on and off the stage. The women's stage props quickly became real weapons dealing out MTF justice! =)

#18. CODE NAME: VANGUARD (based on ARAH Lt. Falcon Sonic Fighters '91)
Marauder Task Force
Origin: USA
To celebrate the 30th anniversary of “GI Joe The Movie” I recreated one of my all time favorite Joes, Lt. Falcon (“Sonic Fighters” *urban camo* version) which was my other favorite version of him from childhood (besides the original), & because he has not been recreated in this look for the modern era. In some ways he is my most ambitious recreation to date as I swapped both lower arms and legs to customize him. He came out solid and I love him! Lots of fine details to try and recreate his look just right!

Green beret "Vanguard" is the field commander of the US sect special forces MTF. He has traveled all over the world in secret from urban cities to steamy jungles in his quest for justice. Working directly with the MTF leader known as "One," "Vanguard" is on a manhunt to track down and capture the man known as "Cardinal" and his elite forces.

Way to think outside the box with Red Kamen SB! While others (myself included) are making Joe customs, you just pull some ultra cool ideas from out your skull and give us a real world based figure. And Sonic Fighters Falcon is just awesome!

Thanks bro, what a cool compliment! I do have some colorful ideas, and MTF accommodates me with an incredible catalog. lol I will always be one to give things I like a loud shout out... I'm just so glad that my friends here (like yourself) can appreciate some of my more creative thinking.

That Falcon is great. It looks like Hasbro was kind of ahead of the times with the digital camo patterns were see in modern uniforms.

My Marauder Task Force Universe is back!!!!
After my 2nd amazing trip & return from Japan, & then the holidays, I finally have time to refocus on my MTF Universe again!

I am excited to be making more new characters/homages!

Shown below is a few cosmetic changes to the existing characters (mostly for better accuracy)...
1. MEGA-CLUTCH now has some stickers (hat & vest)
2. HELLCAT has a more appropriate colored brown belt (now that it has been released to the masses by Marauder ), and a MTF sticker emblem on her T-shirt.
3. HOTLINE gains a radio backpack.
