I like Louie Louie, he's got a guerrilla feel to him. And that tattoo on Tank is nice!

DEF Shockwave looks badass! I have a really old MTF build of him that I need to pull from the shelf & finish but going with newer parts with the regular style pants & knee pads was brilliant! They work so well for the character and match the original figure so much better. Funny that he was one you had in the chamber for so long too, definitely got a more accurate look by waiting so well worth it!
Repeater is just another great job build & accessorizing wise. Love the addition of the glove hand, such a small touch but really gives him a badass look! Louie Louie is awesome! Just such a great job on color choices & accessorizing with him. Really trying not to add another Tunnel Rat style character to my collection but seeing awesome versions of similar characters might force me to crack. Really love this one. Then Battle Corps Bazooka is spot on! Another who I made a long time ago too but need to finish. I used the blue Bazooka as my base but really loving the long sleeves that my build lacks. Might need to figure out something to add those to mine. He was one of the really goofy Battle Corps builds who I didn’t pass on back in the day, mostly because he looked just like my Uncle going on a fishing trip. Haha. Then closing things up with Tank, just such a badass build and it’s a great recreation of the figure you were referencing! Such an awesome group to drop! Oh, and now I have Detroit Rock City stuck in my head! Haha, never a bad thing. Like when I get Queen stuck in my head when Axon updates his Highlander thread.

#175/X7. TANK (based on S.T.O.P. VS. S.C.U.M. "Tank")
Marauder Task Force Origin: USA Season 8 Continuing with my SVS characters, next up as TANK! Initially, for some variety & looking at the card art, I was going to make Tank here African American, but after reading his file card (which I still have all of the SVS cards) I saw that he was actually Native American, which saw me change directions for both his skin tone & head, & I am glad I did, as I think the original would have looked too much like my version of Heavy Duty in all black, & now he stands on his own as a more unique character! TANK (real name Tanaka Bear) saw extensive action in both the Cartel Narco Wars & the Armageddon War of the Middle East. Descending from a long line of Cheyenne Dog Soldiers, his Native American warrior blood runs strong in his veins. An incredible tracker, hunter, survivalist and master of guerrilla warfare, he wants to be the first to go in and the last to leave. Tank joined forces with the "South Paws", a trio of left handed soldiers that formed an alliance squad during the end of the Armageddon War, & has since been advanced as a member of the MTF, under immediate recruitment from his South Paws commanding officer RECO. Awesome man. Can't wait to see Patriot and Skull Hawk. Like I said before they have such a cool back story to them and you're doing a great job staying true to their original designs yet making look even better.

^^^ Thanks bro! Patriot is next!
NEW RECRUITS!!!!! #176/X8. PATRIOT (based on S.T.O.P. VS. S.C.U.M. "Patriot") Marauder Task Force Origin: Ireland Season 8 Part of the reason that I decided to recreate S.T.O.P. VS. S.C.U.M. is that the original figures from a decade ago are waxy, and disintegrating/crumbling even within the safety of storage. If you collected these & haven't checked them in a while you might be surprised... although it's a dollar store figure so maybe not lol. When recreating Patriot here I took a wee-bit more liberties with his color. After thinking I was finished with him I went back and read his file card (that I had saved) and saw that he was from Irish decent, & looked Caucasian on the front of the card art rather than the tan skin tone that all of the good guys had. I'm guessing they were all part of the same mold and got the same color treatment, with Reco/Tank being of darker skin tone heritage it would make sense to color the 3 dark instead of light. But since I am recreating, why not make him look like an Irish lad with light skin & red hair. I also added some blue to his color beats to kind of give him that "police" vibe... while keeping him overall dark but break up the color a bit so him & his other 2 comrades were not just all black outfits. I love how MGR has the actual Aliens pulse rifle available that both Patriot/Tank also had for the original figures. Patriot is a Ex-Irish Army Ranger who specializes in Unconventional Warfare, Counter Terrorism, and Counter-Insurgency. He was eventually transferred to the USA & trained extensively with the US Army Green Berets and US Navy SEAL (Sea, Air and Land) Teams. He is a master of hand-to-hand combat and holds several advanced belts in Jiu-Jitsu and Kuidondo. Patriot saw heavy action in the Armageddon Wars as chief of security in the Middle East arena. After the subsequent collapse of world government, he joined forces with the "South Paws" & then the MTF as their security head to help re-establish order in the streets and battle the anarchy being spearheaded by WRATH. #177/X9. HORSEFLY (based on GI Joe ARAH "Pathfinder '01")
Marauder Task Force Origin: USA Season 8 I had planned on doing this 2nd version of Pathfinder quite awhile back & when the new restock items came in it was time to pull the trigger. It's funny some pictures of him on Yo Joe almost look purple - but never having this version (my brothers & I had the original) I could see by other photos that he was in fact gray. I needed to use the "Paul" head in Caucasian that came with the original "Theo" release as it looks just like Pathfinder to me! But the rest needed to be made, so I had him all built in my cart & then got inspired when thinking of how to incorporate his "gun belt," (and how that could work with MGR.) He was supposed to be part of the 1st or 2nd wave of Maraudergeddon but got pushed back a bit due to order problems and my own changes made later. He was a bit complex to put together but I do love the end result! Ever since his childhood days in Key West, HORSEFLY has always had a fascination with being able to "rough it" in the wild. He's tried every inhospitable territory you can think of to try and survive with maybe a cheese stick and some duct tape. When the world went into chaos, HORSEFLY helped many get through the tough terrains caused by the havoc and got them to a military safe zone. There he was recruited to the MTF after many had praised him for his amazing survival skills & daring heroics. He has been outfitted with a unique machine gun remote belt that was reconstructed from war mech wreckage. His only weakness seems to be bugs, & now in this new world, radiation has made the insect life 2 to 3 times the size they once were! ATHENA gave him the code name HORSEFLY (his least favorite insect) to help him cope with the fact that the new world seems to be overrun (outside of the cities) with the worst kinds of radiated insects!
