#160 GRAVESTONE (PLATOON SQUAD LEADER VERSION) (based on GI Joe Grunt "Stars & Stripes Forever '97")
Marauder Task Force Platoon Squad Leader Version/Version 2 Origin: USA Season 6 Another one a long time in the making... using mostly my parts bin! Grunt always seems to get thrown to the back of the list, the first one due to an out of stock item, this second one because he's on my "easy homage list." With the catalog being so low currently, I have a list of builds that I can make quickly in case of an MGR emergency... Say an order I made has a missing/wrong item & I would like to complete a figure with the correction order I make, that's how Grunt here gets built. He's on a special list of "easy" builds I have in my head because I have the parts already to make him & is saved for just such an emergency lol. Since this is based on a "Stars & Stripes Forever"version, I made sure he had the American flag on his arm. GRAVESTONE decided to stay on the MTF roster again after the alien arms race to keep his mind & body sharp. Being an older member, & wanting to lift his spirits to his former glory, WARHAWK & ATHENA came to an agreement to put him in charge of a Platoon Squad of "grunts" on the new Mobile Transport under SGT. SLATE. So far it seems to be working, and TOMBSTONE is shaping some of the finest "new recruits" the MTF has seen to date. Losing his contractor look for a more traditional infantry look, he is ready for action... now WARHAWK has to get him to stop carrying that damn shovel around! SB!!!!
Nice to see some drops even with most people running low on parts until the restock. That’s a good bunch of gems and that funskool Lifeline is a absolute perfect marauder update.

SB these are amazing cool and fun. Havoc and Evac are my favorites and they really pop. I am loving your bios too.
I am still waiting for the SBverse visual guide....

Excellent job on this latest round SB, I’m really loving how Dela Eden and Grunt turned out.

I always laugh at the deep dive characters / versions you put together because they are usually guys I thought about making at one point or another.
Thought about that Lifeline quite a few times, just didn’t realize how well the colors would work for him without any paint! You nailed it with that build! Might try my own version of him if I have the parts down the road. Really love what you did with him. The Stars & Stripes Grunt was another I thought would be cool to do just to have another Grunt on the shelf. Did a great job giving him an update. Always love seeing Funskool guys, a new take on Motor Viper and uses for the Marauder bald female head. Way to knock all of those out! Always fun to see what you’ve tackled.

THANKS! As we all know, it has been a bit challenging of late, believe it or not, I have 7+ more figures near complete at this point (& even more in various stages) & am just waiting on a few things! Quote:

Simply amazing! You have created (or should I say “recreated”) so many characters, many of which I don’t even know, and done justice to each and every one of them! Fantastic job on this latest round, especially the ones based the characters Grunt and Lifeline!
