When the yellow t-shirt & camo pants pre-order were shown, I immediately thought of Funskool Big Brawler! He was my original 1st planned character for Season 7 & I think the colorway turned out even better than the pictures! This guy was a trip to put together as I had envisioned just how much fun he would turn out to be. Whether MGR had this unusual color combo in mind for anything in particular, I have no idea, but man, it makes a great Funskool homage!

BRAWN grew up in Hawaii and was able to learn martial arts and swordplay early on thanks to Japanese & Chinese immigrants who were as eager to share with him as he was to learn. Constantly pushing himself to new boundaries & a quick study, BRAWN has always pushed himself to be over the top, whether it concerned survival skills, learning how to handle multiple forms of artillery, or pure physical combat, his intensity is admirable but also makes him a bit of a lone wolf. Since joining the MTF, he has gained both loyalty & friendship from his teammates and was the first choice as a survivalist on the new operation "Wild Strike!" He chose a colorful combination of attire to blend into the intense colors of the jungle that he will be cutting his way through to get a drop on the Gunrunners new secret operation of weaponizing nightmarish creatures! Whether he is handling a sword, heavy artillery, or next gen weaponry, you can bet you're already outmatched in strength, size, and skill when you run into this behemoth!

Jinx has become one of my favorite Joe characters over the past 20 years. Loved her original figure as a kid & appearance in the movie - I am so glad to see that she has become a more prominent Joe character in media. YAKU means "disaster" in Japanese...and that's kind of been the story of her life. She has had a lot of failures in life, academics, jobs, love, friendships, but most of all luck. Trouble always seems to follow her and those around her, and though reluctant to join Squad 87Z at first - the MTF higher-ups convinced her that her knowledge dealing with the mutants prior from Mission B.E.T. (the only member of MTF Squad 87Z that has) make her a most valuable asset. But YAKU was chosen not just for her knowledge, but also for the one thing she has always been good at, her martial arts skills. As she is acting as a close contact defender on the team. Before the mission went underway she traveled back to her homeland to obtain the "Akai Katana" (or Red Sword) from her clan - a fabled blade that can slay the demons from Jigoku (Hell). Given to young YAKU as a gift, she does not take her new destiny lightly, and knows how much possible death and sickness awaits!

Where is the Jinx picture from? Great figure. I really like the use of the forearms from a BDU body with the t-shirt torso. I took the female t-shirt forearms and used them on a BDU body for a rolled sleeve look and have constantly wondered how can I use that torso with out forearms and you showed how it can be done.
