I snapped up the MTF Geared Up "Marauder Ninja" & added/changed a few things to make him more to my specs! He was a great offering and I really liked that they included the "Karate & Fist" hands!

SKY NINJA are a long running clan that have a hidden temple in a remote & highest area of Mt. Kita in Japan. Trained in various martial arts, they can accomplish daring acrobatics, & are skilled spies, thieves, & murders. Their bright coloration comes from not relying on the night for their activities and have been known to swiftly kill political & business figures in broad daylight. Protected by the YAKUZA and brought on by them to work with MAJOR MAYHEM'S Tokyo Underworld, they are extremely obedient & powerful as adversaries. When KUREHA joined the GUNRUNNER'S ranks she was placed under the SKY NINJA'S command, tested for her martial arts skills, trained as a weapons courier, stripped of her shrine maiden red attire & dressed in the SKY NINJA blue!

#128 DRIFTER (WASTELAND VERSION - based on POC "Dusty")

Dusty is one of my all-time favorite Joes & one of the 1st 5 I had as a kid after a friend showed him to me in school. I have always had a fondness for the character and have had long-time plans of adding him to "My MTF Universe." The version that I wanted to create 1st is still in the works. When the MGR released their "Wasteland Bug-Hunt" geared-up figure, I didn't have use for it as a Aliens trooper homage, but saw the potential in making him into a more traditional Dusty referencing his POC-inspired look!

DRIFTER has been assigned with HOTLINE & a fleet of troopers under SPRITE'S command in a remote desert nicknamed "The Wasteland." The team is using espionage tactics to keep a close watch and report back on the Gunrunner's terrorist-associates activities. DRIFTER is known to keep his cool in the hottest situations and is not only proficient in desert tactics & survival but as an environmental trooper, and can quickly adapt to extreme habitats. When the order was given to go in & invade the Terrorists stronghold in the Wasteland, DRIFTER lead the armored battalion on the field operation with a swift & crushing blow that stopped the illegal activity there for good, with minimal casualties & many enemy prisoners taken in for justice. He has now been set to move up in the ranks due to the success of the rapid-reaction force's legendary desert mission.

#129 SPARROW (INTEL-OPERATOR VERSION - based on ARAH "Lady Jaye")

Although offered a few times, I had been passing on the MGR Geared-Up homage of Lady Jaye mostly due to the fact I already had a representation of her in "My MTF Universe." Then the last time she was offered a snatched her up & decided to make my Spanish Renegades Lady Jaye homage (aka SPRITE) and this ARAH homage Lady Jaye (aka SPARROW) two different characters in my MTF Universe (much like I did with Daina & Volga.)
*Just a few MTF add-ons to complete this figure.

FLASHBACK: In the earliest incarnation of the MTF, SPARROW worked in intelligence, espionage, & eventually, as a secondary field commander. Although her relations with Warrant Officer VINDICATOR were well known, the 2 operated so well together that the high command looked the other way and would often assign them to the same missions. After semi-retirement the now married duo only took on special assignments, but when a crackdown in Brazil went bad & SPARROW was captured & was thought to be murdered at the hands of the enemy, any further authorizations of joint missions between those romantically linked had been halted. VINDICATOR blames himself for her disappearance & only holds a small candle of hope that she is still alive. The fact is, her life was spared by becoming a prisoner & slave of a high ranking female officer after her capture within the GUNRUNNERS ranks, and knowledge of a woman that fits her description has now been leaked. Rumor has it that she has been moved with the female officer on assignment to the mysterious Grendel Island!

#130 VOLT TROOPER(S) (based on ARAH "Night Vulture")

I was inspired to do my own take on the Night Vulture after seeing a custom online!

VOLT TROOPERS are the GUNRUNNERS primary air recon & defense specialists assigned to Grendel Island. The island is a hostile environment so more traditional methods of air defense (such as gliders) & weaponry are used. With the top secret experiments going on of weaponizing mysterious creatures at the GUNRUNNER'S labs, the VOLT TROOPERS are on constant watch to make sure no one unwanted approaches the secret island location. Skilled sharpshooters and capable fighters their reputation by the MTF as "Lightweights" is not to be underestimated!

SB, you have done it again! A great bunch of MTF figures, and again getting one together that I, too, have nearly completed, this time being the Night Vulture. Again, we have differing takes on the character, but both will be easily recognized for what it is...
