I missed your recent posts until now. I’m really digging that Skull Squad character. Never even heard of it until now. That’s my favorite thing about your customs, you find ways to incorporate what I would call obscure characters. It’s like I get a little education lesson when I come here!

Wow that's awesome! One of the reasons why I started doing this "Universe" in the 1st place was to recreate mostly obscure characters or versions, I'm glad that you gain a little bit of Joe (& others) history from it!

#121 COMMANDER ONSLAUGHT (based on Sgt Savage "General Blitz Ver 3")

Since the WWII stuff dropped we have seen some amazing General Blitz customs from guys like OreoBuilder & Owner of a Lonely B.A.T. ...Wanting to do my own take, I decided on the most obscure of the 3 versions of him in the Sgt Savage & his Screaming Eagles lineup with version 3. Even though I may go back and do a more "classic" version of him at some point, I saw this as an opportunity to do something different as well as get to that great Panzer color scheme that I was eager to use. Made it a combo with the Japanese legs & added a couple of German stickers (chest plate/hat) to complete the look I was going for. *When they get the black beard/light skin tone "Ranger" head back in I will probably swap it out for the brown beard I am currently using.

COMMANDER ONSLAUGHT has been with the Gunrunners since it's early beginnings in the black market weapons trade. Rumored to be ageless as he has been spotted in top-secret photographs that date back as far as World War II, some say he was part of the expedition that found the legendary "Fountain Of Youth"... Others say he has had organs and limbs replaced by experimental Gunrunners tech cybernetics. Since the defeat of the "Tokyo Dark" operations the high ranking Gunrunners have been scattered & not unanimous in leadership. Desperate for control, he is hosting the risky nuclear trade meetings among the remaining Gunrunners Elite & associates ready to sell for revenge to the highest bidder! Some say RAMPAGE has a long time grudge with ONSLAUGHT.

"Jin-Roh The Wolf Brigade" is an oldskool anime favorite of mine - so when I saw the MGR crew homage the film, I had a place for him in my collection. *I changed the setup on the backpack a bit and added the gloves.

WOLF TROOPERS are made up of ex-police, ex-security, mercenaries, and WWII sympathizers. With 3 sizeable squads setup in Germany, Japan, & France they have been hired on various occasions from everything from increased riot control to deep cover international weapons trade. Their leaders are game for anything that goes against their countries enemies or oppressors and some have said that they are secretly government sanctioned. COMMANDER ONSLAUGHT uses them often, as increased security, and has currently brought them in to help guard the secret meeting between the Gunrunners elite & associates for an underground nuclear trade auction to increase turmoil & get the Gunrunners back as the world's top terrorist threat!

#123 NIGHT SHINOBI(S) (based on ARAH "Night Creeper")

When the MGR released their "geared-up" Night Creeper homage it proved to be an innovative build on many levels! The use of the all silver googles and intriguing backpack configuration (although a bit fiddly) really made this one pop and was not a figure I had considered making but was glad to add him to my collection! *I swapped out the trench knife holders for pockets as I never like the way those fit in most ports. I loved playing Taito's "The Ninja Warriors (1987)" as a kid in the arcade at my local campground, & this figure also made me think of those nostalgic days!

During "Tokyo Dark" MAJOR MAYHEM brought in the highly intelligent & skilled tactical ninjas known as the NIGHT SHINOBI as a way to increase his defensive & foothold for procuring rare weapons across Asia for black market sales. The NIGHT SHINOBI are not only known for both their excellent martial arts skills & marksmanship, but also their use of both classic & advanced weaponry, plus security breaking both physical & virtual. Even though their origin is shrouded in mystery, their existence dates back decades and seems to have emerged during Japan's economic boom of the 80's, which had also led to an increase in crime and dark syndicate specialist organizations!

#124 SAW BONES (VALKYRIE MEDIC VERSION - based on ARAH "Carla DOC 2 Greer")

Although quite happy with my original take on Carla Greer, I saw the potential in the offering made by Marauder's to use their more original toy based interpretation as a version 2 in my own universe! I made a couple changes, mostly the harness going from the toy brown to the red/white scheme that I had established in my 1st version, and what I thought would look great on this version as well!

SAW BONES was specifically asked to be brought on as the the team's combat medic for the arm's race in Moldova by RAMPAGE. As 1 of about 3 members of the MTF he gets along with, he asked WAR HAWK for her to be added to the member's roster & he agreed, knowing that the other teams in question would perhaps not bring a combat medic and if negotiations get dicey, someone would be there to help with any injured. SAW BONES has treated RAMPAGE more times than she wants to count, but ever since the 2 have grown a friendship because no matter how many times he gets wrecked, she always manages to put him back together again.
