The "John Wick" looking head is actually sold on Marauder Task Force's site as part of a set. It has been available twice as 2 different sets and is listed under the name "THEODORE" (referencing "Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure") when available. It is currently out of stock (and not pictured) but this is the link for the initial release.

#68 CODE NAME: TUMBLER (based on the ARAH character "Rumbler")

When choosing 1987 characters for the main roster of Squad 87Z I was looking for some obscure homages to recreate and Rumbler (the R/C Crossfire driver) was a perfect choice! Adding some additional touches like the riot shield was a nod to his South Koren release that came with the Crystal Ball shield. I'm really happy how he turned out!

TUMBLER used to work for the government, but they stopped wanting to insure him because even though he always had positive results on his missions, he frequently destroyed too many government vehicles in his high speed chases. He moved on to work for a specially trained missions force driving all wheel drive vehicles over the roughest terrain, then after the team was decommissioned, he took up illegal drift racing to hone his road skills to the next level. When being brought back to action with the MTF, the high command knew they would need a special kind of driver for difficult & treacherous roadways when SQUAD 87Z hit the surrounding areas of the Himalaya mountains. Once they land, TUMBLER'S job is to get the Squad to safe passage to their destination and beat the time allocated. TUMBLER has a hard time believing that there are mutants (or zombies) out there, but brought his riot shield just in case the stuff he's seen in the movies is actually true!

#69 CODE NAME: NIGHT SHIFT (NIGHT SNIPER Version - based on the ARAH character "Low-Light")

MTF Deluxe - Geared Up Figures are a terrific new offering on the site, a lot of character versions that would not have made my MTF Universe are getting added because of these "Geared Up" nice-price versions. It's the perfect way to build up your own universe with iconic characters (- even though keen-eyed builders can see you can build Low-Light with MTF - the cost & selection of gear is really top-notch.) I really like the builds they came up with, so I jumped right in. I had no intention on recreating a classic Low-Light for my MTF Universe, as I thought the Modern Joe offering was quite good. After I bought the NIGHT SNIPER and compared them side by side, this one blows the still great ME figure out of the water. The Hasbro offering is very bulky so this streamlines the character with a better fitting MTF version, & does feel like a modern update to the classic figure itself, with the better versatility that MTF offers! Highly recommended!

*I added the new MTF "Boots With Laces" that is not included with the figure. Also I will be using black figure stands for the "Geared Up" figures offered from MTF to differentiate them from my own builds which use the clear stands (even those "Geared Up" figures with minor changes)

NIGHT SHIFT has been assigned along with DUTCH, SENTINEL, EARTHQUAKE & other MTF Personal to set up a Check Point at the base of the Himalayas to make sure that if SQUAD 87Z fails, a protective barrier has been created to contain the mutants from getting out of the mountain regions and into the mainlands below. NIGHT SHIFT is the team's chief marksmen and has been assigned to take out any mutation past stage one (from afar at the top of the Checkpoint tower) that approaches the facility in fear of a potential possible outbreak.
