The fifth figure was a bit of a struggle to come up with in this wave & make for a worthy entry. I had ideas for Blanka, but went with "Night Fighter Guile" from the expanded SF Movie line, as I was going to use him as a Night Force filler figure eventually anyway lol. The OG figure uses a Snake Eyes '91 body with a new Van Damme style head. I was able to make this one using all MGR parts with a Avac's BF2K Blaster helmet which looks similar to the DEF Bulletproof helmet the original used in black. I think he's a clever entry to complete the roster. I may (at some point) create the 5 "G.I. Joe VS." characters I had planned for a wave 2 of this "side story" mentioned in the bio below...

BIO: GUILE was a lieutenant in the United States Air Force, but now works as a special forces operative traveling the world gathering intel on Shadowloo. On his latest mission, GUILE is going in the cover of night to infiltrate the Street Fighter Tournament to report back his findings before it officially starts as an affiliate to the G.I. Joe team. If G.I. Joe is needed, a crack squad has been put together to square off in the match, including JINX (NINJA APPRENTICE), GUNG-HO (CAJUN COMMANDO), ROADBLOCK (BRUTE FORCE COOK), SCARLETT (NINJA TACTICS) & SNAKE EYES (NINJA COMMANDO!)

First of all, Happy Birthday SB! And now to the drops. I love them all! Street Fighter goes perfectly with your collection and you did a great job on all of them. I hope to see more Street Fighter themed figures from you in the near future bud.

I’ve actually been thinking about a night fighter Guile myself because he was the only figure from that movie line I had and I love Van Damme

All very cool! I had done an MTF Bison a little ways back; I used the German cap, and wound up padding the interior with a bit of e-tape to get it to fit on the "trooper" head.

Also, I didn't realize until now that my old Night Fighter Guile came with a completely different helmet than yours or the sample on Yojoe.com. I don't have him any more so I can't compare exactly whose it was, but it was more like Duke (v3) in black.

It's my birthday week & I'm also celebrating on the 'Tank with a new drop! This time themed to the Street Fighter G.I. Joe/Hasbro lines of the 90s! The Street Fighter 2/Movie lines where built with G.I. Joe bodies, & included some new parts. My brothers & I had a bunch of them growing up & they still remain in our collection today... Starting off with Ryu, the main character of the franchise, he is a MGR & Boss Fight build, with an Avac's Mortal Kombat (lol) cast overlay.

STORY: The Street Fighter II's World Warrior Tournament is underway! The best of the best and meanest of the mean battle in the greatest martial arts conflict ever! The title of World's Toughest Fighter is at stake!

BIO: Ryu's overarching goal in Street Fighter is to become a total master of his fighting style. To this end, Ryu plays the part of the wandering warrior, and takes both his travels and his training very seriously. Although he appears to be aloof and unemotional, Ryu is actually a kind and honorable warrior.

Whers that vest on ryu from? Hes my favorite of the bunch!

My gosh, I love ALL OF THESE! Just seeing them brings back so many memories. My buddy was actually a mortician. We used to play SNES Street Fighter II in the mortuary office while my buddy was in the back working on the recently deceased.

Okay, okay. So, I love your drop. I pass over that Mortal Kombat chest piece all the time and wonder what it actually looks like on a figure. Turns out it looks great. Also, with Balrog, love the leg-ammo. I have been wanting to make a Salvo, but have too scared to try the legs. And is that a Sentinel head? Did you take a DeLorean back to go get it?

Night Fighter Guile! I had him! Yours is so cool. I want to make one now. And good choice on using the black dress shirt. Smart.
