Love this latest batch! I will never be able to accept a Mercer that doesn't have that head. Heartwren--er Bittersweet is the star of this particular batch though. Incredible accessorization. Long live AVAC's Lab!

Solid batch of builds my brother, love the theme of Commanders 2087 and also how you dug out art figures ie cast of General Flagg to inspire this particular build. I'm intrigued as to how much inspiration & ideas you draw from independent research for various themes, good stuff my dude.
Books is probably one of my favorites of this round, mainly due to his unique look, I mean you ordered a whole bunch of metal glasses to perfect this figure plus the belts and web gear altogether look fantastic and the chosen head sculp matches the character nicely!
Then YERSINIA is just badass build all around. Love the all black concept and the use of the collar (I do recall the same part with one of your aliens build). Really awesome!
Scott is perhaps of the show IMHO, I mean he's a surfer after all and wears those aviators with style! He's got some of my favorite MGR parts and of course that head sculpt is phenomenal. Spartan118 is your partner in crime with this particular figure. Fantastic concept!!
Dagger Raider is the bomb, love the grey/black throughout and the silver aviator and goatee complement the build in the best way possible. I gotta copy this recipe for a potential Star Wars build I've in mind. I think you're the one who invented the double bandana on the leg Great looking figure bro.
Kreeg is another ingeniously planned & executed build and that head noggin is looking so groovy. The parts once again blend so seamlessly. You always seem to have the ability to make parts mesh so well, what's your secret brother?

YUP! I had a drop a week apart lol... I do some research on my drops as when I am theming them (especially) I like to have a full roster all picked out before I even start, Vor-Tech, Lord Of Insects, & Sky Commanders were all done like this, since they were all their own theme, I wanted to have my rosters fully developed before I even got started, so when I put the figures together, I have a lot to pick from, as some figures take longer to flesh out, require special parts, or may require out of stock items that I have to wait for to finish them. So it gives me room to shuffle! Yeah Books has a lot of love put into him, he's a pivotal character on the show & I wanted to get him just right. I considered giving him a custom head but was still not committing to it from the catalogs I look at, the metal glasses really was a game changer to make him much more styled to my liking, & mimic the show more accurately. Yersinia is a great example of going outside the box with my research, I came up with a magic number for Sky Commanders & then an expanded number, & filled in the blanks with all sorts of things I was finding (like from the cartoon & some of my own ideas), as I wanted it to be more than just 10-15 figures, I really wanted to make it a thing all it's own. I've used that "Alien Collar" quite a few times, the Aliens, 1 Destro homage, Creepy (Lord Of Insects), all 3 of the Mutant Girl Squad... I really find it quite versatile! Spartan118 is always a great choice, he really helped with having good head options & using my specs for the final R.J. Scott build! Looking forward to your Star Wars concept using the Dagger Raider cues! And yes, I did invent the double bandana on the leg lol!
*What's my secret? An artistic eye & having built 400+ figures lol!!!! XD

I commented on these on Facebook, but wanted to say again how great this batch is - all your Marauder customs are awesome!

Glad to see that the beret fits the PJ head. I wonder how the Vietnam Green Beret beret will fit. I'm thinking of Col. Carl Brewster from Tour of Duty.

Also, your Slaughter's Marauders figures are the gold standard of how MJ needs to package these as "Geared Up" figures.

Does anybody else think the "Russell" head looks similar to Graham McTavish (Dougal Mackenzie on Outlander)?

Hey Jason thanks for the double dip! I really do appreciate the kind words & the "gold standard" comment!... I think most of the MGR headgear will fit the "PJ" head no problem. That noggin is smaller like the "Hank" head! ;-)
