Absolutely love the Sunrunner Midori Story! Intelligently crafted backstory that leaves so much to expand on or I should say build on as the characters are being added.

Impressive batch, as always, with a very diverse characters and builds. Alien trooper is probably one of my favorites (funny as I had finished a very similar build for Space Force around the same time) as I really dig that silver/green color combo! I mean you really couldn't get away with not adding those BFS alien parts in this round

SQUIRE is another hit more so because of how he came about, ie being part of an early attempt to make advanced robotic defenders prior to the alien invasion. Salvaged and taken to Japan to help produce robotic mechs! Super smart way to introduce OFFICER CHEISU's partner. The build itself is really cool as well.

OFFICER CHEISU is a badass earth defender needless to say. And who wouldn't be with such a dynamic exo suit and limitless ambition to track down his alien abducted father. Man, I would have loved to see this bad boy emerging from an armed force vehicle kicking alien ass!

Gotta love Midori with that flawlessly manufactured raincoat! That bit of the story of her carrying a high grade plant-based fuel is simply ingenious...and how her sunny personality helps her communicate to the special plants that she grows in her secret garden. Beautiful! I have a feeling we'll be seeing more female characters with very different yet lethal skills.

The build of Skull Baus and his insistence on staying behind to rule over dried earth sets him apart and makes him almost the popular villain that everyone wants to see prevail at the end. Super nicely executed, great job bro. I really enjoyed this latest round of awesomeness!

At one point I considered making the SUNRUNNERS MIDORI figures their own thread, but then it made more sense to keep them within the current roadmap due to the numbering system & possibly getting more views. 乁( ⏒ ͜ʖ ⏒ )ㄏ


Looking fwd to seeing your new Space Force! I know I always think about with how many good creators there are on this forum, you wonder when you complete something that you think is original, if someone else is working on the same type of thing... and for me always doing 5 figure drops, and trying to do diversified assortments, some figures get put in my holding status for months+... which could lead to what looks like copycat figures even when there not lol!

I'm really glad you like the back stories so much, I feel the bios do add something unique to this thread, & am thankful for those that enjoy that aspect of it. I like your hot takes, because it seems you are putting the stories into context when you are reading them, & how they would fit within the world building element. SQUIRE was one I wondered if anyone had combined Boss Fight Knight stuff with MGR Exo stuff before... but don't think I've seen it done anywhere!

There will definitely be more unique ladies coming in the "MIDORI" story line, as 3 more have already been planned!

I enjoy your take on SKULL BAUS being a villain you find yourself almost routing for... because of his back story lol! XD

I just finished all the figures for the next drop, & am currently working on the January/February/March 2023 figure rosters. Right now I have the next "MIDORI" wave scheduled for March 2023. ;-)

361/V5. CRIMSON JACKAL (based on Action Force Red Shadows: Red Jackal)
Crimson Moon

This Red Jackal build came about through various trial & error processes at recreating the vintage figure using just Boss Fight parts... that it actually lead to 2 separate Destro-style builds (more on that in a 2023 upcoming wave...) I also went back & forth with using a red colored head instead of the silver, as I have seen many customizers do that smartly to differentiate him more from Destro, but in the end I thought the silver head looked better with this build.

CRIMSON JACKAL is a key member of COUNT IRON MOON'S regime. A former tank commander for the UK Military, his unit was ambushed while on a routine mission, where he was severely wounded, & kidnapped by CRIMSON MOON. The first of one of their many cyborg experiments on turning the enemy into an ally, parts of JACKAL'S head & hands were replaced with advanced bionics. In an attempt to mimic the look of M.A.R.S./COBRA'S own DESTRO, COUNT IRON MOON uses both CRIMSON JACKAL & REDNOK as lookalikes in his propaganda to cause dissension in the ranks of COBRA, by having them resemble both DESTRO & the BARONESS to cause doubt in the hearts & minds of COBRA'S cause with a plot of dual allegiance!
