Thanks for the double dip here & on FB Ax! I really appreciate all the support! Thanks boss! Laser Trooper & Wild Bill seemed to be the hits of this drop both here & on social media! Always good to see in this thread man! Quote:

Laser Viper, Officer O'Hulihan, Battle Maid, Wild Bill, El Camimo are all such impressive builds!! Love the details and that vintage helmet on Laser Viper, you're truly nailed the look!
Then Battle Maid, I mean you know how I love each and every new addition of ladies in this thread. They're both foxy and deadly at the same time and that applies on all of them as they're meticulously executed! The parts are so carefully selected to complete an accurate and sharp look! El Camino is another perfect example of how you blend MGR and BFS blend so seamlessly with these builds. Really like the look of that belt/holster, not completely sure if that's one part altogether but it does look nice. Beautiful color scheme! You can never go wrong with a solid MGR based cop; and he's Irish so even better! I may need to made me a couple of those builds, as they look dashing! Wild Bill is another solid build, the best I've seen got to say. Digging every aspect of it. It clearly shows you've put a good amount of thought prior. Never made one of said character so I'd love to use this recipe if that's okay. Exceptional round of awesome builds bro! Keep them coming!! Yup the MGR "Cop" build is a fine one & so easy to put together on the site with just a couple clicks, you can build a squad fast! Yes! I wanted to get a "Wild Bill" build that was very OG inspired! Just had to wait on those parts to finally get him all finished in the line up! Feel free to use the recipe & add him to your collection! I always try to make stuff in this thread as a template for others hoping to inspire! Thanks again for everything Paokole good buddy! . Last edited by Steel Brigade; 08-15-2022 at 04:24 PM.. |

Woohoo! I love it when a new set of your customs drops and this one does not disappoint. This has got to be one of your more varied collections of late, spanning a faithful update of a classic character, an inventive take on a mid-00s 'Nok obscurity, a tribute to an element of Japanese culture I was previously unaware of, and a brilliant reimagining of an underrated troop builder. I think you hit every SB custom base with this round.
Overall, another great batch, and as always, the stories behind them are much appreciated. Can't wait for the next batch! |

I aim to please lol! Variety is important to me which is why I work waves ahead of what I post, so that I always have an assortment of figures to pick from for each drop, hoping at least one will catch the viewers eye! I'm glad you enjoy the stories of their creation! I think adding a bit of "behind the scenes" & world building (with the bios) is what helps make this thread stand apart! Good news, I'm already finished the next batch for September, & am currently working on the one after that for October's drop! |

Great new batch SB, but that Laser Viper is just crazy awesome! And I love how you always include one of your custom Tokyo maids, they always come out looking sweet.

I missed sooooo many!
Shutendoji! Love the colors you picked for him, reminds me of the toy prototypes you would see for the factories. Then that mask is awesome and I was not prepared for the Shang Tsung style BF head underneath! Your Biggles Jones crushes the Club version! Haha, I always think about adding her to the list but them I?m always like.....do I really need two of her? Haha, maybe I?ll go off script with her down the road if I have extra parts. I always love seeing the news camos, especially since I still haven?t gotten most of them. Really fun update to the jungle BAT, love that head for him. Then making the lower arms & gun almost look like one giant part was a cool touch. Haha, I was mostly unaware of the Bridge Layer growing up, I just know my poor coworker got the Bridge Layer instead of the Mobat and it killed his interest in Joe almost immediately. That?s a perfect, no paint Tollbooth! Love the helmet, glad you were able to get it in Orange.....although now I?m thinking about how cool a v2 Tollbooth would be! That?s a great head for him, nice to see how versatile some of the WW2 heads are. Love the backstory for Action Girl, that you made a Claire Danes custom and the sleeveless t shirt build! Always impressed with the imagination to get the no paint builds done, really clever solution there! Then I?m liking those new BF parts more and more! Two more drops to dig into (I think!)......can?t wait!

But you did miss the last 2 drops! So hopefully this saves you some time! You need to Hit (& Run lol) these 2 batches: https://www.hisstank.com/forum/g-i-j...ml#post5545462 (#336-340: Uncle S.A.M., Tempest, Wrath Tank Commander, Bazooka, & Mamba Viper.) Thanks as always, so glad to see you back! PS: *BONUS #1437 is a Collection Grid update (like how you do your thread) with some changes & the latest. . Haha, appreciate it! I did that Star Brigade Destro, then was all geared up for the next custom and a short detour in reorganizing the collection turned into a long detour in organizing the collection! Haha. Felt like I didn’t hop on Hisstank for a week and next thing I knew it was months!
Lmao! I thought I left comments on that batch but then didn’t see my thread when I was jumping around. Thought Uncle Sam was where I needed to pick up! Can’t wait to dig in!
