Continuing my ''Tanks for the Memories'' project, here is my take on Clutch and the VAMP.
I went with the ARAH comic pack head because it's the definitive version, IMO. Also, I tried playing up the mechanic aspect of his filecard by giving him tools and accessories. For the VAMP, I kept it simple. I repainted a junker VAMP from my fodder pile, attached the machine gun and fitted it with accessories. I still need to figure a way of attaching the shovel so that it is removable (it's glued at the moment) and touch up the paint on the headlights and tail lights. As always, let me know what you think. OB Last edited by OreoBuilder; 09-20-2009 at 07:52 PM.. |

I love this convention set, and you're truly doing it justice. Where did you get the tool box?

um, awesome. Totally. That is one sweet Clutch. What's the recipe, and does it say Manny's Mean Machines on his back?

Thanks guys!
The recipe is simple: Torso+arms: Scrap Iron Legs+belt: Hawk (wave 9) Head: VvV Comic Pack #3 (modified with a Dremel to fit) Vest: Indiana Jones Toolbox: Mega Bloks accessories (From a McLaren F1 set) Unfortunately, the vest doesn't have the ''Manny's Mean Machines'' logo on the back. One of my friends offered to print up one on clear sticker paper, but we haven't gotten around to that yet. When I update the vest, I'll definately post here. Thanks again, OB |

Man, I think I like what you did here more than the Rip-It/Shredder. This is just awesome! Other than dremeling, did you modify the head in any way or is that just paint? It makes a world of difference. Great work!
