Following the bad guys, now we have Airwave, Altitude and Drop Zone. I decided my Sky Patrol would have 3 units, I wish I could say I know exactly if any of the teams have a main role, but I don't. I just wanted to integrate the Brazilian exclusives with the US released figures. For this bronze team, I like to think they the first to arrive behind enemy lines, providing recon, communications and weapons.
About the choice for accessories, I chose to give the figures that originally came with the most unusual weapons (Altitude, Drop Zone and Static Line) special parachute/gliding backpacks and to pay homage the original Sky Patrol vehicles I made them all in silver/chrome (Also because it looks great ). For some I focused or their specialty, in this post, Airwave is the case. For all figures I tried to chose weapons that could at least be related with their original weapons, if not in form, in function at least. As usual .. questions, comments, critiques, small talk are very welcomed. |

Airwave
I decided to make the cammo in the upper body too. His helmet is made out of Steel Brigade turned backwards with the back portion molded with epoxi and a new antena. |

Drop Zone
His backpack is one of my favorites in this project, it a mix of parts from Ret. Joe Trooper, Red Skull and an Iron Man spring loaded piece. I couldn't come up with something that pleased myself for an alternate vest, so in this case I used the same the club did, but the holster in mine is functional. He is also the most close in appearance compared with the original figure, I hope the backpack and helmet give him a modern look. |

Altitude
His backpack is from Red Skull (from CA:Winter Soldier) and it's a bit bulky and was the first I did for the set. Since his specialty is reconnaissance, I think the flying drone is a nice adition. |
