I hate how Hasbro's direction for Star Wars is 5POA for the main line. I hate it even more when they release a character like the FO Flametrooper that can't even hold onto his weapon properly because he only has 5 POA. I finally got around to modifying it. He can hold the flamethrower two handed now. I got lazy and did the articulation the way vintage G.I.Joe elbow articulation was done. Since the main purpose is for him to hold the flamethrower, I just rotated his left arm so the hand faces up. I was too lazy to give him wrist articulation and waist swivel.

To make this relevant to Joes, I guess you can say I gave him 'Swivel arm & battle grip'

I hate hasbro's articulation for these and marvel figures.

Thanks guys.
Yes, I agree. At least for Star Wars, I wish Hasbro didn't have to stick religiously to 5 POA for their figures. As with this example, had they given this figure 'swivel arm and battle grip', I think a lot more people would have liked it. What's the point of a figure with a weapon that is meant to be held 2-handed when the figure can't. Another one is the Chirrut Imwe figure from the Rogue One line. I wish he could hold his staff two-handed. I might have to mod him as well when I have time.
