As Christmas is approaching I wanted to make a typical car for a whole family to unite in peace. Here is it: I joined a Lanard Hummer with the tracks of an excavator toy. As the piece of the excavator toy is made of PVC, I could not paint it because the paint would not stick. Thus I pained the Hummer yellow.

I do not know the meaning of "recipe". In case you want to know how I did it: I disassembled the Hummer and painted the body. I also dissembled a toy excavator and glued the lower part under the Hummer chassis with a lot of acrylic paste. The shield in front is made of parts I cut out of an old printer cap. It is fixed to the chassis with pieces from an old Lanard vehicle box. In reason of the forces I fixed these pieces not with normal glue but with a paste dentists use to restore parts of teeth. The arm and the saw in front are from a Bionicle figure.

That is really cool. Not at all what I imagined when I opened the thread.
And yes, what is dentist glue and where do you get it? |

It is a white powder and a special liquid. When mixing it you get a white cement that hardens very quickly. The dentists use it to repair teeth. You need to look for a shop that sells materials for dentists. I do not know the rules in the USA. In Brazil only a dentist can buy such materials. Luckily, one of the friends of my wife is a dentist. The material is rather cheep. 200 ml liquid and 200 gramm powder together cost about US$ 3.
