Never happy with any of the Hasbro Duke figures this is my second time setting out to create a more suitable one. I took a new approach with this one while keeping with color scheme reminiscent of the classic figure.
All paints are Testor Model Master acrylics. Head and arms are from the Renegades Duke. Torso from the Resolute Duke, Upper legs and knees from Steel Brigade trooper. Lower legs and feet from Renegades Duke.

Now this, this I like. A lot of folks have done some nice Dukes, but I love this twist. Very cool.

Love it. Easily one of the best Duke heads ever.

Although that torso is not one of my favorites, this is an excellent custom! Your paint applications look great! Your work reminds me a lot of Justin Cook (yak_chewie), a Star Wars customizer, in that you are able to blend the right kit-bashed pieces together with an excellent paint app!
Any chance you would make your background explosion available to download? It's one of the best I've seen online. Jason |
