From Brigadier General Falcone's notes:
Lowlight was of course a well known, well respected member of the original GI Joe team. After the team was disbanded, he went back to the regular Army as an instructor at the Sniper School and then was seconded to the CIA, initially to train operatives in nighttime surveillance and target acquisition techniques but eventually was used on several operations, and his counter-sniper and surveillance operations are known to have saved the life of at least one allied world leader. After 22 years in the Army, he retired and moved his family to Buffalo, Wyoming where he set up an "adventure ranch", taking people hunting, canoeing, and rock climbing as well as training military and police in sniper tactics. One year after the collapse, a routine security patrol near the Pitt III was saved from an ambush by unknown sniper fire. Turns out, Lowlight and his son had come looking for the Pit, and decided to observe for a few days to make sure they would be welcome. Of course, we were glad to see him. They have returned to Wyoming to get his wife, and will be re-joining us soon. He definitely looks the part of a mountain man now! Name: MacBride, Cooper G. Rank: E-8 Master Sergeant PMOS: Infantry Additional MOS: Sniper, Marksmanship Instructor, Airborne, Ranger MacBride is an expert in sniping, surveillance, and night vision equipment. His marksmanship skills combined with with field craft, knowledge of night vision equipment, and ability to use darkness to his advantage means he owns the night. He can use nearly any firearm to its inherent capability but prefers high powered bolt action rifles for taking long shots. |
