Honestly, I think whichever direction you go it's gonna look pretty badass and I look forward to seeing the finished product. However if I had to pick one or the other I'd say
KEEP IT GANGSTA! Go with the original look

Go classic, but with restrooms somewhere and toilets in the jails. Didn't Barbie have a bathroom in her house? What? Does Gijoe not need to relieve himself?

Looks amazing.
I'd say which direction you go should be based on what figures you're putting in it. If it's going with the ARAH figs, definitely go old school. If you're doing 25th/Modern, update away!
