This is my take on the "Original 13" team of GI Joe. Since I don't want to use up too much of my attachment limit, i'm only going to post the photo of my entire team. The individual ones you can find in my album here:
https://www.flickr.com/photos/113336...57668158764705 First one I want to talk about is General Hawk. I've tried a few customs on the character in the past, but didn't fully satisfied with any of them until I made this one. I repainted his hair blonde because I felt that was his more iconic look from the earlier Marvel GI Joe comics. Second is Scarlett. The original Resolute Scarlett head looked ugly, so even though i'm using the ROC Armored Scarlett head that does not have the ponytail, I think it's still the best head choice. Third is Rock N' Roll. I honestly don't know whose head I used, other than I found it with a bunch of custom fodder recently. I think it looks good as him, plus I have an alternate head that is a 25th Anniversary Outback head that I repainted to have blonde hair(not pictured). Fourth is Short-Fuze. It's unfortunate I can't fit both a helmet and a pair of goggles on his head, so I chose the goggles since that's what makes him unique. Fifth is Zap. The 25th Anniversary Bazooka head works well as Zap. Even though I have quite a few 50th Bazooka heads, the paint quality on them is poor unlike this one, which works well. Sixth is Steeler. Interestingly enough, I originally planned on using the Resolute Beach-Head body on him, but instead used it for Clutch. I know a lot of people complain about how bad the wrists are for some of the 25th Anniversary figures, including the 25th Steeler. However, after swapping his hands with the ones from the SRO Wild Bill, it's not so bad. At least he can hold his rifle with a realistic firing pose. Seventh is Clutch. I think the Resolute Beach-Head's vest better suits him than Steeler, maybe because of how the FSS version looked. Eight and ninth are Flash and Grand Slam. Both are simple LBCs and I felt that Grand Slam should not look like a clone of Flash, so I went with the ROC version. I didn't have the original 25th Flash's helmet, so I used one from a Comic Pack Duke(the one that came with Red Star) and a clear visor I received from member Fallout777. Tenth one is Grunt. I've seen quite a few people use the same 25th Anniversary greenshirt head to represent him, especially with that serious/determined look on his face, so I figured i'd do the same. Last but not least is Breaker. I've seen someone on Hisstank make this particular LBC, though I can't remember who exactly. I'm fairly certain at least a few from here have made this same LBC. The other two figures, Snake Eyes and Stalker, I left unaltered. Here are the formulas for the ones I customized: General Hawk: 25th Anniversary single pack "1986 style" Hawk with his hair repainted blonde Scarlett: Head and crossbow: ROC Armored Scarlett Body: Resolute Scarlett Rock N' Roll: Head: unknown(alternate head is 25th Outback w/hair repainted blonde) Bullet straps: 25th Anniversary Rock N' Roll(first version) Helmet: DG Wave 1 Duke Rest: 25th Anniversary Comic Pack Rock N' Roll Short-Fuze: Dollar General Wave 1 Duke w/Renegade Ripcord's goggles Zap: Head: 25th Anniversary Bazooka Helmet: 25th Anniversary greenshirt? Body: Dollar General Wave 1 Duke Steeler: Wrists/hands: 25th Anniversary SRO Wild Bill Helmet and visor: ROC Pit Commando Rest: 25th Anniversary Steeler Clutch: Head: 25th Anniversary Clutch Rest: Resolute Beach-Head Flash: Head: One of those Fred heads from the 25th Anniversary Crimson Guards Helmet: 25th Anniversary Comic Pack Duke(came with Red Star) Clear visor: Not sure Rifle: ROC Flash Body: 25th Anniversary Flash Grand Slam: Head: 25th Anniversary greenshirt Rest: ROC Grand Slam Grunt: Head: 25th Anniversary greenshirt Rest: 25th Anniversary Comic Pack Duke(came with Red Star) Breaker: Head: ROC Bench Press Rest: Dollar General Wave 2 Duke

Nice.
For my 82 group I have Timber as a cub. I raise wolves and you really have to get em as little kitcubs to get the kind of relationship Snake Eyes and Timber are portrayed as having so I found a Sleich cub and when I play that era I use it as Timber, its pretty cute.
