Hey Ninjapleazee, if you ever get a wild hair up your butt and want to do another Blackhawk custom (because I know these babies aren't cheap). May I suggest a black-and-white arctic camo. That would look amazing!
On a construction note: How did you cut out the glass sides and install the mini-guns? |

the entire process of dismantling this thing was very discouraging at times since its FREAKING GLUED TOGETHER along with screws. I was told repeatedly that it couldnt be done without breaking the toy... but my buddy Paul was able to so I figured I'll take a stab at it. I painstakingly split it apart along with guidance from Paul over instant messaging.. until one day I got fed up and did an incredible Hulk and prayed to god that I don't break it.. I jus split it like a coconut. Then everything just slowly came together.
The windows were hand-x'acto'd out and slowly carved until I got exactly how I wanted it. Finding pieces to hold the mini-gun took a while so it was endless search at various toys to find the right one... and ontop of that.. my Ebay drama with a seller because he took 3 weeks to ship out the wings for the original tomahawk.. missiles, lower gun turret...then each piece came in slowly one by one. So basically.. it took a while because of waiting for parts, the original decal sheet from a tomahawk was like finding Nemo in the Australian ocean... I had to buy a busted tomahawk and box just to get the decal sheet I wanted.. I know.. crazyyyy... When everything came in, it was painted piece by piece interior, doors, wings, etc.. then came the camo process.. Now putting it together was just as painstaking as taking it apart! But overall I had a blast doing it..

That chopper rocks, especially since it's a homage yet realistic. Love the wings on the sides! Great work!
