The diorama measures 5 meters wide, 90cm high and between 90cm (left side) and 50cm (right side) deep. It shows an international expedition to an island with a stone age environment for purpose of a rescue of a lost plane in the 1930s. The figures total 37. Besides there are three small King Kong figures, one mammoth, two saber tooth tigers and several other animals. The plane is a Messerschmitt ME109 D of the manufacturer Blue Box. The ground vehicles are the jungle cutter, a truck and an army staff car, all three from the 2008 Indiana Jones series of Hasbro, a Playmobil trailer , a Harley Davidson motorcycle made by Maisto, a customized 1936 Ford Pickup of the French manufacturer Solido, a heavily customized 1934 Bugatti Type 59 made by Bburago, a 1931 Ford Model A of the manufacturer Motor City Classics and a 1937 Ford Coupé made by Yat Ming.

For several seconds, I just scrolled through in utter shock. This diorama has so much going on, and so much of it is so outlandish, and it all works so, so well. The sheer creativity is astounding. Kudos, man. Big time.

Thanks for the comment, Dremel. It has been a time, because I had run out of ideas. In that new diorama I tried to use some figures I never used in prior dioramas, in particular the Chap Mei stone age figures. I chose the 1930s as time line because I wanted to use some car models from that decade.

I am in the course of updating the diorama. I added a bone balance and a stone age woman figure I found in one of my boxes with figures. The plane was covered a little bit with plants and I replaced the bear on the mountain by a tiger with youngsters. Furthermore I made a trailer for the army staff car and added a field kitchen.
