Oh, turning a Warthog into a Marauder version is so obvious, but I never thought of it. Cool!

LOL...that I am. I feel guilty repainting old vintage G.I. Joe vehicles mainly because we will never see those kinds of toys made again. It's like I'm "improving" all the Chap Mei molds with paint and decals.
My next custom will use a G.I. Joe mold...think what type of vehicle transports Destro's TARGATS for low orbit battlefield insertion. Stay tuned...because knowing is half the battle!!!

I contemplated cutting at least the rear hatches so they could open using the fishing line trick, but didn't want to ruin the vehicle by messing up. I like how its kinda simple, but a solid little vehicle. I'm sure more experienced customizers will add LED lights, interior benches and other things I just didn't do. I wanted something simple that could blend in with the Marauder's sub-team and this did the job.

Wow. Impressed. I didn't think that mold could look so good. It is accurate to an AAV in looks, but is underscaled. But with that awesome paint job and figure placement, it looks great. Much better than the original Warthog.
