Just wanted to let the Tank know that I saw these for $12.99 at Costco. They need tweaking (especially the sport cars), but I think GI Guppy has some good instructions. I wanted to find an Aston Martin, but a '68 Mustang will work. I think they have been there for a little while so act soon.

There are a few ways to do it. I love 1/18 cars because next to Joes they are proper scale and while Joes may fit into 1/16 better; 1/16 is far too big a scale for Joes. How do I convert them to fit?
1. disassemble the car by removing the chassis. Note: most 1/18 vehicles have steerable front wheels. this is done by a hitch on the steering column and a receiver on one side of the front wheels. (Sometimes you may lose this feature, but not always) 2. remove the front seats or seat. and cut them down. Some people just remove the bottom and glue the back rest back in. Ive also just made really thin seats. The seats may also have to be moved back. this isn't necessarily for figures to fit, but helps on hard top models due to getting the figure inside. 3. cut a hole in the firewall. You will lose the pedals (Oh well) You may also have to only do this to the driver side as many figures fit into the passenger side no problem. 4. Reassemble the vehicle...and have fun |

Didn't see any Dodges in there. I showed him some of what is available for the car he's looking for. Whether he wants to spend the money is up to him.

I think the Dodge Viper is the only Dodge they had (not sure). And it was probably the most plentiful next to the Lamborghini at this particular store.
