When I got asked to make this guy, I actually thought he'd be way more challenging than he ended up being. Just a bunch of stuff to add. He's from Valiant Comics, alongside guys like Bloodshot, Rai, and Ninjak. He's a godlike, cosmic powered being. I haven't read any of his comics, but he certainly sounds interesting.
First, I cut the collar short a little bit, and removed the skirt piece. After that, I added some sculpt over the gloves to blend them with the arms better. Then I sculpted up the belt and over the torso to add the red portions. Added some orbs over that, and dremeled in the arms, legs, and back for the cables. For that, I used some of the jewelry elastic from WalMart. Finally, added some sculpt to the Destro head, full repaint, and all finished up! Much simpler than I expected, and I'm really happy with how he looks in the end. Recipe: Body - MU Starlord Head - 25th Anniversary Destro

Very cool man!
I must still own some Valiant comics from the 90's. I really liked the art in Ninjak by Joe Quesada. This seems interesting as well. |

This guy has a great backstory, he was orphaned and grew up in Russia, study hard and became a cosmonaut, while in space he lost contact with earth and was never heard from again. years later (like a couple of decades or something) he came back but he had God like powers, to the point that he went back in time just to see the woman who abandoned him. It's a pretty cool back story i gave you the extreme short version.
