Joe: Skidmark (Lifter D.R.V. Driver) Chosen because I wanted a driver who doesn't get used much.
P.M.S.: Fast attack vehicle driver S.M.S.: Infantry Joe: Bazooka I chose him as my mechanic since Gears was already used. I know there was a lot of other Joe's I could have chosen but I wanted all the team mates to have mechanized armor back ground of sorts. He has been a driver of several vehicles, and as an ex-tanker he would know how to work on them. Being a armor defeating weapons expert he would also have knowledge of how to fix the weapon systems on the zoids. P.M.S.: Zoid mechanic S.M.S.: Lifter gunner Vehicle: Lifter (because it gives the Joe's and Zoids a lift lol) D.R.V. (deployment and recovery vehicle) This is a junker Monster Blaster I had laying around. I wanted an all in one vehicle that was half troop transport that could run the Joe's from HQ out to the zoids, or run the mechanic out into the battle field to conduct repairs and also act as a tow truck if need be. I wanted the work shop on the back to be more integrated into the vehicle so it didnt look like shed strapped to the back but with the size of the gear I got in there it was a pain getting the angles just right while keeping the interior space I needed so I gave up and built a wood box on the back.i put a swiveling crane from the battle Platform on it, couple of pivoting gun from the General, relocated one of the guns to the front and it pivots, made the sides fold down for easy access of the troops in and out, put a dr who sonic screw driver on the top, and stuck an old led key chain flash light over the drivers seat as a infra red light to use for anyone NVG's. Cobra: Motor Viper Always liked these guys and being being Stun driver's to me they are used to driving into a hot zone fast so why not use this driver on a vehicle where I need troops delivered to the zoids fast, or needs tools and a mechanic dropped off quickly, and most of all be able to rush in a tow a zoid out.
P.M.S.: Slither Driver Cobra: Repair B.A.T. Well the Techno Viper was used and I thought a lot about who I wanted to use as the mechanic. Then I figured why not a robot to fix robots, I had some spare bats so I painted him construction orange to set him apart from other bats. He has all the standard hands that come with the bat but I added a scanner and tools. All the hands have these crazy small magnets in them as well as on his body so he can just reach down and pop one off and another on for fast quick and easy access. I put the battle damaged head on to show that he works on the zoids in the heat of battle. Vehicle: Cobra Slither (because it slithers in and around the zoids) D.R.V. (delivery and retrieval vehicle). I made this out of a old Parasite. I needed a troop transport to get the guys, tools, and what not out to the Zoids and this fits everyone in. I modified the side door so it has a ramp. On the other side I added a door and ramp after cutting off the part where the mines were stored because I didnt want the guys having to climb over the seats to get out. The mines I relocated to the back of the tool shed to use as gears for the zoids. I reloacted the gun to the top of the shed as well as adding a crane from the Battle Platform to help with working on the zoids. And on top i've stuck a sonic screw driver as a cannon for extra fire power. Last edited by Voice of Reason; 10-30-2016 at 08:24 AM.. |

Joe: Hawk (Commander) I just love Hawk and for some reason I always liked his space suit jet packed version and thought it would be a good one to make for this since he can leave his command zoid and survey the battle from the air, plus I just wanted to try and make the figure lol
P.M.S.: G.I. Joe Commander S.M.S. Zoid field commander Zoid: Command Zoid This is Hawk's personal zoid he use's to patrol the battle scene and give commands from till he has to rush into battle himself. Last edited by Voice of Reason; 10-30-2016 at 08:25 AM.. |

Cobra: Serpentor (Emperor) I like Serpentor but not as the emperor, yet thats what he is. I chose him because I had a spare zoid that was gold so if i'm going to make a field commander for them it would have to be Serpentor since the zoid is gold also.
P.M.S.: Cobra Emperor Zoid: Cobra Zoid Chariot Serpentor rides atop of this as he runs into the battlefield. Last edited by Voice of Reason; 10-30-2016 at 08:25 AM.. |

thanks. never thought this thing would have taken as long as it did but i wanted all core team zoids covered from the show. i need to find where i put all my decals in storage. serpentor's shield needs a big cobra emblem to cover up the patch i put on it, and the vehicles need decked out also.
i wanted the figures to be packing heavy so i loaded them up with gear and wanted to get creative on placement of parts. i'm very pleased with this even though its not everything i wanted to do. thanks so much for checking it out and all your kind words :o) |

Awesomeness. Love the matching colors schemes. Do they still make Zoids? I had a couple back in the 80's? But they were just the grey ones. If you ever make more there is always the Battle Force 2000 guys.

thanks. i kept thinking man these colors look so weird mix matched on the guys but in the back of my head i was thinking its no worse then the 90's era joe's.
i wanted a way to tie everything in. tiger force has the tiger stripes, python patrol the fix net pattern. so by having the figure colors match the zoid i thought would work and mtf figure base keeps everyone in a sub team kinda uniform. i also used "force" and "patrol" in their names just like most other sub teams have. other then decals there isnt much i would change other then Skidmarks mare's leg's holster. i didnt notice till after i took the pictures that it should have been red, not green, and its driving me nuts. maybe next time i put a order in to marauders i will get a red one, bc that custom mare's leg i made is bitchin and needs the proper holster lol |
