I had two issues with the factory figure that I wanted to fix 1) the lack of articulation in the lower body- the knees have a single joint at the top of the knee rather than having a joint at both the top and bottom of the knees and the ankles have no articulation being sculpted in a static pose and 2)the legs are ridiculously small and disproportionate to the figure's upper body. To fix those issues, I simply added new legs. I mixed custom paints to match the blue of the pants and the grey of the camo as well.
Thanks for looking. |

I really wanted to like this fig because the paint deco is so cool looking, but the lack of ankle articulation killed him to me.

After stripping the factory paint from the legs, I used a mix of Testor's standard enamels Sea Blue (1172), Flat Blue (1162), and Testor's Model Masters Neutral Gray (1725) to match the blue of the pants. For the grey camo I used a mix of Testor's standard enamel Flat Blue (1162), Flat White (1168), and Testor's Model Masters Aircraft Gray (1731) and Neutral Gray (1725).

Nice job on the modifications!!! After getting this figure, I decided he deserved a spot in my special collection case titled "Garbage".
