25th style Heavy Metal custom.....enjoy (or be disgusted; I shouldn't assume ) Tried to match up with the vintage, but I added the map pocket and knife on his east leg cuz I dug it like that. I didn't do a very good job on the gold Triangle symbol or the blue patch on his west arm.....drawing in that fine a detail is beyond my ability for something that small. But I still liked it well enough to post, obviously....I did learn quite a bit about dremeling / shaving down knee and elbow joints so the acryllics will stay on even after some posing and usage.....not playing - posing

Wild Bill vest (modified with added holster, and carefully spliced out the knife)....arms are General Hawk painted black.

Thanks for the props, fellas. This was my first custom in well over a decade, and my first with the 25th style figs. I've got a couple others in the works....takes me quite a bit of time to complete, though.

you shouldn't beat yourself up so much. great looking heavy metal, and he has a mic! as far as the leg, don't feel constrained by the vintage figure, add or subtract at will.

I like your 25th custom a lot. Using the side-by-side comparison, the ARAH version looks lame.

I like that you kept the guns gold - that's commendable.
I don't like the knees, but that isn't your fault. I just don't like those knees. Very nice work. Also, in the comparison shot I believe that is Rampage. Heavy Metal didn't have the blue patch on his arm as far as I can recall.
