The goal for this project was: Take those funny, goofy motorized action or vehicle packs apart and make a new versions.
I've been wanting to change the A.T.V. into a ski mobile for a while now, the main reason why I came up with the idea for this project. I started with: Main body: A.T.V. '88 Ski: Swamp Skier '84, q-tip + toothpick Gun: Headhunter Stormtrooper '93 Tracks: Devastator '89 Back: styrene, Buzzer '85 backpack, q-tip, some Soldier Force straps First I took the A.T.V. apart to take a look at the pullback motor. Nothing really special there, but instead of two wheels on the side, I made one wheel in the middle to provide some space for new tracks, because I wanted to replace the wheels with some smaller tracks. The ones from the Devastator where nearly perfect, but I had to cut them in to smaller pieces, leave some out and glue the remaining ones together to make them fit. The front ski was just a no-brainer. I removed the wheel, made a new "axis" to fit the ski and drilled holes in the A.T.V. front fork. For the back part I added a bent piece of styrene and glued some straps and the Buzzer backpack on it so it could serve as a cargo rack. I like that feature. Look, it actually works: https://www.youtube.com/watch?t=2&v=219bkyBlTOc I wasn't sure which faction it would belong to, the Oktober Guard could use such a vehicle as well. But when I started testing the Snow Hare it looked like that Snow Serpent was really enjoying the ride, so it became a Cobra vehicle. The added back part was made as a cargo rack, but it might hold another figure too. I haven't tried that yet though. I selected Snow Hare as a name, because a hare is small, but fast and maneuverable. |

That's sweet it can be a back pack like that. It would also be very cool in a bigger version.
