Here's my first customization project, a barracuda submarine from the Real American Hero series. Reading through the comments online, it's not a very popular Joe vehicle, so I decided to try to give it a facelift from the WWI style attack boat it was to the modern look of today's submarines. It still seats one Joe, but I did away with the vertical torpedo launcher.

My problem with that toy is they made it way way too small. Nice idea though I love anything old school. Looks much better in black too.

Thanks, yeah I think it would've been much better if it seated at least 4 joes and added consoles. It's got me thinking of other submarine concepts to work on.

I did the True Heroes Submarine while ago. It looks cool but it's pretty big and lack any real inside detail. I sold this one just to have the space.

I looked into the true heroes submarine but just as you said it was a little on the large aide. I'd like to look into maybe building a sub if I can figure out the best water proof materials.

This does look good in black.
I also dig the True Heroes sub and if I had the space for it I would totally get one for customizing and display. |
