One week of all new custom vehicles from myself. Everything from simple repaints to commissions to my usual hack and paste style vehicles. These were all built from faded, broken, and forgotten junked vehicles that were left in some dirty garage or dusty attic until someone decided it was time for them to go. They were LEFT FOR DEAD!
Day six bonus vehicle. Unnamed Cobra utility vehicle. This is my MUTT and Ditch Witch vehicle with just a small box on the back. It is still in use on Cobra Island today. Used for all kind of jobs like running supplies, moving troops, bringing parts to repair vehicles, moving artillery. You name it it's most likely been done. Unfortunately I lost the tailgate when I took it outside. I guess some things never change. The Cobra Mammoth Is it a tank or a mobile command center? Well the answer is it's both. This beast is nothing short of a land Battleship. Known as the protector of Cobra Island, The Mammoth is used to patrol the island on specially widened roads and for where it can't go the Mouse can. The Mammoth is armed to the teeth with two massive rotating cannons, four dual barreled side mounted cannons, four lower mounted quick action 50mm cannons. It can carry several hundred surface to surface missiles and if that wasn't enough it has a massive long range multi-position long range motor cannon. It also includes several command work stations and a helicopter landing pad. More pictures included on Day7.

Wolverine MK2 Mauler Class
I wanted to build a bigger version of the Wolverine one that also had cannons as well as the missile launcher. This is what I came up with. The kick ass Covergirl custom was built by fellow Tanker NightHawk. It's a Bridge Layer body with the front piece from the original Wolverine added on so it has the look of the original. I then cut out the back and added the Wolverine missile launcher. I basically built up the bed part of the Snow Cat to hold a modified Cobra Rage cannon. I used a piece I cut out of the Bridge Layer engine bay to cover the seat hole. Cobras Blue Racer Tank Destroyer. I couldn't do a week of customs without a Snow Cat. This is kind of a mix of a few of my previous Snow Cat customs. I really wanted to do six wheels like I did with my Watchdog custom but I couldn't find the parts in time. Day 2 Brings the Cobra Ditch Witch.
An early Cobra vehicle that was used in the development of Cobra Island. The Ditch Witch was used to dig ditches, Trenches, used to push away debris, plow snow and also as a bomb disposal vehicle. You name it was used for it. Several of these vehicles are still in use on Cobra Island today. This particular one has been restored for Cobra Commanders personal War Museum. The Ditch Witch is a custom based off my GI JOE MUTT Truck I did last year. It's the Joe Weapon Transport vehicle and Bomb Disposal vehicle on a modified Slugger chassis. Here's my GI JOE Mutt

Day 3 Cobra Sabre Tank.
The Arctic Wolf is one of those vehicles I always get in fodder lots. They always seem to be in very poor shape with broken canopies and parts missing. I was really surprised to see it get reissued by Hasbro, but it made me want to customize one. This is what I came up with. Cobra Duster Desert Assault Vehicle. Pretty straight forward build, all I did was add the side skirts, remove the front bumper and add the new cannon. A small update on this one, I have since painted the wheels and the end of the cannon black. Will update these pictures when I can.

Day 4 Maggot V2
This was the first vehicle I built for this project. I never liked the original Maggot with it's too skinny laser cannon and those strange fold down legs those needed to go. So this is my spin on a more traditional looking Cobra Maggot. I used added a Slugger cannon on to the original maggot one and then built an armoured window frame to give the driver some protection and give it a bit of a different look. I went with an old school black and red Hiss style paint job.

Day 5 The G.I. Joe Husky
When I was a kid I loved the smaller vehicles like the Polar Battle Bear, Armadillo, Pac Rats even Serpentors Air Chariot. As a customizer I love using them to build other kinds of vehicles. I looked at what Hasbro had made already and what was never built. I came up with the idea for a Tractor. Based on the weapons transport vehicle I used the Armadillo treads and wheels to make a rolling chassis. Then I added the front plow from the Bomb Disposal vehicle. The Husky can be used to move artillery push or pull damaged vehicles, plow snow all kinds of jobs.

Day 6 The Cobra Wedge
Today is APC day. I always loved this toy as a kid. I decided to build a cobra Bridge Layer but I didn't want a tank so I used this. The second APC is just a repaint done in Crimson red. I did modify the gun, I replaced the old barrel with the one from the Ram.

Day 7 Cobra Mammoth Super Tank with Mouse drone tank.
When I look back on all the custom vehicles I've built there's three that I really wanted to build but for several different reason didn't think I ever would. Going back some two years now I had the idea to build a huge super tank for Cobra out of a General. As luck would have it a fellow tanker buddy of mine found me General at a price I couldn't pass up. It just so happened I had a couple extra Rolling Thunder turrets so I knew if I was ever going to build this thing now was the time. Well almost a year and half later I can call it done or almost done anyway. I posted this as a WIP over a year ago and regretted it right away. I only like to show stuff whens it done not half done. I was having a hard time with this because it big and awkward to work on. The modifications I made weren't too hard but the treads gave me some grief. Originally it was going to have all treads but I soon realized that wasn't going to work so I kept the inner wheels. Keeping the wheels gave it a funky kind of half-track look and also makes it roll much better than it would with all tracks. I have three different choppers for this byt today I'm showing it with my Cobra Blue Thunder. As a kid I always wanted a Blue Thunder chopper now I finally have one. The Mouse drone is an Armadillo with a dual cannon added, it's name come from the German Super Tank Mouse. I hope you all have enjoyed Left for Dead and thanks you all for your comments please keep them coming. Also stay tuned for Left For Dead two coming sometime in the future. The Cobra Tidal Wave and Cobra Hammer Fist My three holy grails.
