Got tired of waiting for the Collector's Club to make this an FSS figure and I got some parts in a trade on here that I thought would work so I made Fast Draw to go with my 25th Anniversary figures.
I just make figures to fill holes in my own collection and I don't usually share them on here, as they are pretty simple compared to other customs I see. I had posted a WIP of this one and got some help from other Tankers to finish it, so I thought I should let them see how it turned out. I didn't have the original hoses and control handles, but I figured he would have more compact firing controls built into his suit or helmet now anyway and I wanted to give him some other weapon to carry for after his two big missiles are gone. Parts: base figure: Retaliation "Blast-o-matic 5000" Duke DG cobra trooper webgear 50th Blowtorch belt and modified thigh pads modified Steel Brigade helmet vintage Fast Draw visor and backpack gun 50th Viper

Looks good. After seeing this, I kind of regret not modifying the vintage backpack I had for my Fast Draw custom. Now that I've sold off the backpack, it's too late to regret it.

Thanks for the comments guys.
Nighthawk, I remember looking at yours when I was working on this. It looked pretty good and that Duke missile pack is probably what the Club would use if they ever did an FSS Fast Draw. I actually bought a loose incomplete Fast Draw on eBay just to harvest the backpack and visor. Modifying the backpack was easy, the visor was the hard part.

Yeah, the visor was too big for any helmet I had and I discarded that idea right away.
As for the vintage backpack, yeah, I agree it's easy. I just couldn't decide if I wanted vintage look or practicality (ie. using the Duke missile pack). In hindsight, I should have kept the vintage one and modified it as well so I can switch back and forth depending on my mood...haha.

Wow that is impressive...to be able to make a bland figure like the Retaliation Duke, and use his body to make an awesome take to a character who has not had an ME version yet...dang.
