For those of you unfamiliar with the F.E.A.R. series on PC, it's one of the best First Person Shooters ever made. It combines Japanese psychological and supernatural horror elements with tactical military aspects and can be really scary and intense. The first game in the series is an all-time classic, but unfortunately, the series kinda went downhill from there. Parts 2 & 3 aren't bad, but they don't reach the heights of awesomeness that the first installment does.
You play as the Point Man of a team called F.E.A.R. (First Encounter Assault Recon), a top-secret black-ops group created to deal with paranormal threats against the United States. Your team is called in to investigate a violent uprising by a group of cloned, telepathically-controlled super-soldiers and their "psychic commander" Paxton Fettel, as well as the appearance of a ghostly child named Alma, who possesses horrific powers and an even more tragic past. It's a great storyline. Anyway, the Point Man is a mysterious dude who possesses superhuman reflexes that manifest in the game as a mode called "slo-mo," an ability portrayed in the game as the world slowing down around him. In this special game state, everything slows down by a factor of 5, and his movement and firing speed is doubled. This video gives you an idea of how it works, and the ability is a hell of a lot of fun (especially when using the shotgun!): Although Point Man's character model is never explicitly shown in the game, his reflection can be seen in liquids if the graphical shader settings are set to maximum. He wears a balaclava that completely conceals his face, the same F.E.A.R. uniform worn by his teammates (including the D-12 body armor), and red goggles. There are screenshots and concept art of him of varying quality available online, but this cosplayer made his own costume and really nailed it; here he is to give you an idea of what the Point Man actually looks like in the game: Anyway, enjoy! Comments, as always, are welcome.

What's the first thing you remember? Where were you born? What's your given name?
You have no history.

Looks great. What software/app did you use for the effects?

Oh my goodness. That's top notch - great subject too. My only critique is I think just sealing off those holes, at least the one on the chest, if they aren't going to be used would have been great. I also love that game and I don't think I ever even thought about what the player character looked like.

Good point. I guess I could get some stuff to sculpt the holes closed...I'll look into it. Thanks for the helpful critique!

looks excellent mate. i love to remake video game characters (specially from 3rd person shooting games). theres a lot of potential character designs in there that would blend in perfectly with joes (im currently into finishing my custom inspired resident evil raccoon city cobra swat team). the only comment i could mention is the arms. IMO they're a bit thin compare to the bulk and sizeof the torso and legs.maybe the 50th cobra trooper or the shock trooper arms would be better? great paint works on the webgear as well mate. white is a nightmare for me to do, yours looks factory made.

Painting that tiny D-12 logo on the vest was tough, too.

That is perfect! Great job on this one! That is a great rendition of the character and is making me want to play the game again. That just looks so cool.
