I also want to take this opportunity to publically thank Marine Deadpool for all his hard work on this project. When I had this idea, I knew it would turn out great - because Marine Deadpool wouldn't do a project that wasn't up to standard - but I honestly had NO idea how great this would end up. That tattoo is insane. It is the single greatest detail on a custom that I have ever seen. I could not be more pleased with it. It exceeds all my expectations.
Thank you, Marine Deadpool, for making customs that I am SO proud to own. I will keep them forever, display them with pride, and one day hand them down to my son. When I see this quality of work - these characters reimagined to such a level of detail and reality - there is a 10-year-old boy inside of me that wakes up and says, "remember". And that is magic of untold value and meaning. It reminds me why I love G.I. Joe. And on a personal note, I want to thank you for being such a good friend. Besides all the great customs, getting to know you as we've worked on all these customs has been a real privledge. You're a good friend. I'm proud to know you.

Here is the 50th Gung Ho I posted about a week ago in the "50th in Hand Thread". He has that Vietnam Era look and feel to him here, but I took a new Gung Ho and camo'd up his pants and cover in tiger stripe. Since the figure was direct from overseas, he had no Eagle, Globe, and Anchor on his chest... And being that this sculpt is way too muscular to accept decals... I had work something else out and added the mark of my beloved Corps, hand drawn, and not an easy task. Then it was decided to shave off the holster, and add on one of Marauder Gun Runners new drop-leg rigs that could hold their suppressed 1911, which I modified to hold the suppressor.
Gung Ho w/o vest With vest Close up of tattoo. 1911 suppressor on 1911 suppressed 1911 Alert Close up of vest w/m16 "Dear Terrorists, Merry Christmas. Unfortunately, you were on Santa's naughty list. This Marine will be delivering the ashes and switches. Enjoy the 72 virgins. All the Best, The Joe Team"

That is just perfect! I'm hoping we get a repaint in that shade of green eventually, but I know the camo won't end up looking as good as this.

Great job! The dark green also reminds me of the GI Joe vs Cobra version of Gung-Ho.
