Lance there are simply no words! To call this awesome is an understatement. You sir have outdone yourself to a level that I did not even think it was possible. This bird has definitely set the bar and your hair probably has spiked upwards and turned gold yellow because you sir are a super sayan of a customizer.
I will never admit it but possibly you have probably succeeded in making a grown man cry tears of joy |

Thanks all, for the kind words. This was a fun project. I was surprised at how well all the pieces fit together. Honestly, I don't plan anything when I kit bash. I literally just eye ball things and think, hey this might work, then I buy the parts and cross my fingers.
I did discover something worth sharing here though: So I normally try to drill and use screws when attaching major parts to something when glue just isn't enough to hold things together. The tail section of this thing could not be screwed bc there just wasn't a good place to use screws. I noticed that the tail section was hollow so what I did was awesome if I do say so myself. I basically added plastic 4 pegs to the rear of the ship by drilling holes into the rear of the hull and inserting 4 plastic pegs cut from the model kit farms. Then I simply filled the hollow tail section with hot glue gun and inserted the pegs. Then I used krazy glue to seal the edges. The result was a bold strong enough so that you could hold and carry this thing just by it's tail. See the WIP pic, it's pretty cool to not have to worry about the tail breaking off. Thanks bro, glad to see some new work from you here as well. In fact, Hisstank has had a lot of awesome hits lately. Thank goodness bc there was a drought for a while. Quote:

MORE!!!!!!!!!!! Can't wait for 3D printers to get cheaper and better. In a few years, we'll all have our own and I can only imagine that forums like this will blow up with some seriously awesome AWESOME customs.
