The Wolverine is one of GI Joe's most iconic vehicles. It has great playability, realistic military looks, and a hot chick for a driver. It only had one flaw, open drivers cockpit (as did many other vehicles). So after I finished my last custom (HAVOK can be seen here: http://www.hisstank.com/forum/g-i-jo...ok-custom.html )
I decided for my next attempt at a custom I would update the GI Joe Wolverine tank. I used the same base vehicle for the Wolverine as I did for the HAVOK. That is the Captain America Strikefire vehicle. The turret is from the Battle Force 2000 Dominator Tank. The rest is from the original Wolverine. I have a couple of more little tweaks to do but overall I am very happy with the way it turned out. Covergirl is in command with Bombardier as her gunner. I needed a gunner to man the turret and really had no place else to put Bombardier, besides his little remote anti-tank weapon fits perfectly in the back of the Wolverine MK II. |

I love both of these and would buy them both in a heartbeat if they came out like that from Hasbro.

I think this is a great update. That vehicle is such a great mold.

Nice update you have there.
I Googled the original vehicle & it's pretty cool too. It puts me in the mind of the Vietnam era M35 2½-ton cargo truck or a M54 5-ton 6×6 truck with heavy machine guns.
