Finished up the 1/18 TA-183 model. The new canopy looks great, but I struggled with fitting the glass panes. Sorry my photographic abilities are very poor.

Amazing! She's gorgeous! Looks super accurate too. Big time impressive build. Congrats on completing it. I would so buy one if you ever casted it somehow.

So, just how in the world did you build this? Was there a lot of 3d print involved? Just curious bc there's no way in hell I'd be able to scratch build something like this.

Back in the early 90's I was in a model railroad club with an older German gentleman who flew combat missions for the Luftwaffe during WW2. I believe he said he knew a test pilot that was "melted" by the fuel from a Me 163 Komet when a fuel line ruptured because the stuff was so corrosive. This reminds me of the Komet. Again great work.

It's a fiberglass and resin kit. It's still in production and he is now making s version with full cockpit and landing gear!
